I am considering placing a large wager at least for myself its large) on a team to win their respective series

my leans are

Denver 1-0 (+170) line dropping
Houston 1-0 (-110)
Seattle 1-0 (-220)

the play would be in the 500-1100 range

any opinions

Houston looks good except for one thing. How will McGrady's back hold up? He played MAJOR minutes in game 1 and I do not think he can carry his team in a 7 game series. Dallas is loaded with talent and played piss poor game 1. Too many question marks in this series.

Sonics at -220 seems too pricey. Kings are talented and got their injured players back. They hung with the Sonics in game 1 despite Bibby playing one of his worst NBA games EVER. Sonics will have a very hard time winning at Arco. I think Kings can win this series.

Denver +170 looks good but they had no business winning game 1. Spurs handed it to them giving up those 8pts at end of 1h and not scoring a FG in the last 8 min. of game. I don't think Denver will beat Spurs but I do think this series goes 6-7 games. If Duncan re-injures his ankle you got yourself a winner!

IMO the best series bet are the Celtics -200 over Pacers. :)

Good luck with whatever play you choose.
