looking for ideas

i placed a one unit wager in november on the nets to win the eastern conference for a 6.5 unit return. i was content on riding it out win or lose, but the more i look at the matchups i could see the celtics giving the nets a run. any thoughts on how to profit regardless of who wins? i know i could lay 2 or 3 units to win (a little better than even money) on the celtics for the series, and come out + 2 to 3 units to the good regardless. is there any other scenerios that i could profit from regardless? or do any of you feel strongly that the nets are going to the finals?

I had philly at 10/1 or so last year to win east and had to sweat my nuts off every series ...

either sit tite and sweat 6/7 games or take your money now at 3/1

if i play 2 units on celts/lakers parlay.

scenerio 1:

nets futures wins i win 6.5 units, clear 4.5 units

scenerio 2:

2 units on celts/lakers parlay wins, i win 4 units, clear 3 units

scenerio 3:

celts/kings go to finals i lose 3 units

(banking on the lakers to go to the finals.)



if i play 3 units on celts futures only it's even money, guaranteed 3.5 or 2 units clear.



or sit on nets futures and clear 6.5 or lose 1 unit.

will let you know what i do.

the more i looked at it, i just don't see my nets futures winning, so i played 2.5 units on the futures parlay to win 5 units, or clear 4 units. (sia)

if nets go to finals, i also clear 4 units.

only get screwed if the kings go to finals, lose 3.5 units.

regardless of the outcome, thanks for the idea roger and antonio. thanks others for thoughts as well.
