One has to figure if Hillary runs that the race will be as close as 04 if not closer, and you have to wonder what ballot initiatives the Republicans will put on the ballots in battleground states. Since the gay marriage issue should be played out, I wonder what they will use to drive the vote?

DTB: The "military" is not the monolithic voting block thta you would have them to be in your neocon fantasy world. I work in the defense industry in a town next to one of the largest military bases and there are plenty of soldiers who have problems with the leadership and this war. Have you noticed that recruiting goals in the military have fallen short for the first time in what 20 years or so?

as I said before the only time we have recruiting probs is when we are at war and there is risk involved--Stevie Wonder could see why--but apparently you can't.

Just as Carter-Biden and Puloski are saying they want to close Gitmo--what they don't tell you is where they want to move them.
Most Gitmo prisoners are in air conditioning--getting clean clothes -3 squares a day--have medical complex and are currently building a 2.3 million mental facilty.

Have you liberal clowns ever saw any movies of how are prisoners of war have been treated. I'll wager there are many of our troops that would swap places until their enlistment is up.
--and we get the liberals and the media whining about it and want to give them lawyers.
Think about the terrorists just arrested in CA.

Maybe we should should designate liberal and conservative areas in the U.S.--if we capture a terrorist in progress of dirty bomb ect in conservative area we do what we need to do immediately to prevent it--if we catch one in liberal area--we call the ACLU to make sure they get him an attorney before we question him.
How would you like them apples???? Live or die by ones convictions-right?

I do hope you know it's not all that easy. In fact I know more conservatives that found ways of not serving there country then liberals. Not sure if they just had the money to pull it off. Or were just scared chit-less.

DTB: Compared to you a Centrist is definitely a liberal but then so is Ron Reagan.

I have no heartburn with Gitmo. My point to you is that the military may not be quite so pro-W.

By the way, Kathleen Harris is considering running against Nelson for a Fla Senate seat. Talk about mobilizing the Democratic vote in that state!

Now I see why I have stayed out of this forum since George W. took the W. You Democratic shlubs never cease to amaze me. The Democratic party has been in disary two elections now. I hope Hitlary runs and gets your nomination because there is no way in hell she will pull it off. That just means four more years of the republican party. Thats all we need is a woman with the name clinton with pms running this nation. Now back the forums where I can win money.
Good luck!
