ESPN's Chris Mortensen is reporting that Peyton Manning had surgery this morning - cervical fusion with 2-3 month minimum recovery. No word on whether he will be put on IR.
Sucks for anyone who drafted him in fantasy... guess it sucks for the colts too. :violin:
Love him or hate him, I think it sucks for the game period.
Good point. Not gonna be the same without the Colts contending this year.
You think they tank and go for Luck??
They may not have to tank to be honest with you. Just don't have a lot of faith in Kerry Collins. My guess is it's Houston's Division to lose now.
I think they definitely have to look to the future now for a QB.
Lots of doom and gloom on the internet and talk radio right now. Comments about "career ending", etc. I'm not ready to go that far yet, but not many years ahead of him anyway, now you throw this into the equation....

I'm wondering how many of those doctors have already told him to hang up the cleats or face the possibility of a wheelchair for his retirement.
There is no sense continuing the career. For what, money?
