I did great in college football until the very end. Then I hit a HUGE slump. Worse than this overall with 3 sports. College/Pro football and college bball.

Yeah, but the main reason "he" is the king of the mountain is b/c of the juice. You have to win 54 out of 100 just to break even (or whatever that magical %age is).
But I do agree. Money management, etc. is very important. Its hard enough to break even w/o playing parlays, teasers, etc.

I do find it amazing though of how many stories there are of people losing 10 in a row, and how few WIN 10 in a row, etc.

hey....up thru noon yest i had lost 23 of 24 parlays.....all 2 teamers.......my record was slightly less than .500 (was hitting 1-2 religiously) but the parlays were killing me financially......yes i know they are a sucker bet but ;osing 23 of 24 2 teamers???????

Parlays are not sucker bets if the odds come close to matching the probability, in which case at Caribsports they do. So a 5-team parlay paying 'true odds' is actually no more or no less a 'sucker' bet than laying down on a single game. Parlays are suckers when the payouts fall far short of the actual probabilities, like what they used to do (or still?) up in Canada. THOSE were sucker bets.
