Line opened at Toronto -135. Line is currently Toronto -115. The consensus reports I use indicate this is public money. Feeling much better about my play on the Leafs now!

DDubs,

Why are you so huge on Leafs tonight? I think this game can go either way and will be a fierce battle.

I see lots of physical play and probably 5-6 goals.

I really like the over 5 play, but can't get a read on the side.

Why does everyone seem to be so confident with the Leafs pick tonight?

Good question, sashi patel. The Flyers have dominated the series so far and are one of the best road teams in the league. I see them looking forward to going on the road tonight and with all of the Leafs injuries I'll be on the other side.

The reason I ask is because there are a lot of excellent cappers whom I have learned to trust and respect on the Leafs. :hail

My research leans towards Philly. But, like I said, I trust those on the Leafs so will play the total instead. :D

I think the Flyers again try to outscore the Leafs rather than out defense the Leafs. Too much on the line. If you rely on defense, one power play or defensive lapse can hurt.

Sashi, sorry for the late reply. I was AFK the last few hrs after I posted. As far as the Leafs pick, FWIW, the big line shift had a lot to do with it, as we're looking at about 30+cents shift, maybe more. Unless we're all oblivious to late-breaking news about this game, I don't remember hearing or reading anything about this game that should warrant a shift like that. I think that alone, should be a big red flag for the Philly backers. Philly is great at home because of their prolific D, limiting opponents to low SOG's and rebound chances, but they're a different team on the road, allowing about 10 more SOG's than they do at home. Getting Wesley back will be a big factor defensively for the Leafs, IMHO, especially after losing Antrpov, as now they'll have Kaberle/Svehla and McCabe/Wesley combo's to work the tough guys on the Philly's side. Factor in the home ice advantage with the crazy Leafs fans, I think at -105 is a steal, value-wise:D. Hope this helps:D, good luck to you guys tonite!

consensus i look at has phily 15-3 ....total of 18 picks...with the line going the other way...you certainly have to like the leafs ...but just wondering if the line moves were quick and heavy...or not

ddubs - steal this :p

home teams 8 - 10 so far this year. what advantage is that ???

LETS GO FLYERS :Yep:

this game reminds me of the nj/bst game yesterday. everyone on the home team, and the obvious choice is ignored.

i like flyers & under.

not just homer

cooz, pretty steady decline, from what I could see, which is exactly why I think this should be puclic money pouring in on Philly;)

Aces, trust me, if the Kings were in the playoffs, I'd be talking the same smack:D . Plus you don't really think that 8-10 stat is gonna hold up throughout the playoffs, do you??

Another thing about the Leafs, they seem to win when they're not supposed to, and flop vs weak opponents. But that's why they play the game, eh??

Good luck, guys:D. Great discussion!
