What a game plan by UCLA and. Even bigger than that...... Execution!!!!!!

They took over in the 2H, and dominated!!!

LSU doesn't look like the power they historically have been, or is it that UCLA is back?????

I'm sure Hurricane Ida and the ongoing issues in da Bayou, as well as that end of the country have taken their toll.
Than again....... Tulane looked AMAZING!!!!!

I hope that it's just that UCLA is for real!!!!

I am a fan of coach O, and felt like USC made a bad move for letting him move on.

Johnny...... Hope the game was as energetic as could be, and yes even the tailgating at lot H!!!!!!

I wonder if THE LSU FAITHFUL, gobble up all the booze, per usual!!!!!!
Was their vibe per usual??

When I lived out in the ATL (for about 4 years) , I went to a UGA game and it was WILD, to put it mildly!!!! Around 2004-2005 I believe.
Great Peep's for interacting before the game.
That was one of the reasons, I wanted to go see the game yesterday.

You are one of my fav cappers here but not surprised. It?s an SEC superior thing, maybe this will show your conference if you play other power 5 teams that they can be good too. I give LSU credit for taking the game, can?t wait to see Baton Rouge in 2024.

We have been building for this season a while, like 3 years. This is a good team not great. We lack big time receivers and a elite pass rusher.

Bring on Bama, lol.

Honestly, I don?t think the sense that LSU was better coming in has to do with conference superiority, although the SEC and the stronger programs in particular have been superior to vast majority of the power 5, but LSU simply has more talent top to bottom in nearly every position group than UCLA on paper. Not to mention, many?-I know I certainly bought into this?felt that last season?s LSU defense was an aberration caused by Bo Pelini. We?ve never been that poor defensively in the past, and the returning depth and talent is impressive , again on paper. Turned out, the defense is same as last season. Still zone heavy and confused in the back with terrible safety play, invisible LBs and spotty play on DL. The 38-27 makes it seem this was a game, but it wasn?t. I heard some locals blame it on the team being displaced to Houston, But I don?t buy into that at all. Anyway, good luck rest of way

Cie,

Say it isn't so.............. I looked at Johnny's avatar and thought he was responding to himself!!!
A man of his word...... Very respectable!!!!
I sort of expected the LSU offense to play how they did, but not the LSU defense to look just and utterly....... LOST!!!!!
That CB that is supposed to be drafted top 5 overall, many questions about that, as well as a whole on that side.
I really hope that UCLA has turned things around, and that LSU isn't doing an encor? of last year

No conference guy here. As a matter of fact it irritates me when people around here say the SEC won the Championship. No the sec didn?t win shit, Alabama did.😂

I?m headed to the west coast to get some more baseball stadiums off my 30 stadium bucket list and I wanted to see Ucla in the rose bowl but they are at Stanford that week. So I settled for USC vs Oreg st.

Pasadena is a much better area, and w the Rose Bowl being what it is, I would got there before going to the Coliseum.
But you will. Still. Enjoy the atmosphere Boomer
