What I wouldn't give to see a 6-team playoff. Give top 2 teams a bye and then play it out. Let everyone else in the nation play a bowl game no matter how shitty they are....

I've been fortunate enough to witness 2 national titles by lsu and a superbowl championship for the saints in my time here. I sus:toast: pect that I will handle myself along those same lines going forward.

Well that sucked, not because of the game. But because the BCS got it right again. Alabama was clearly the best team this year and deserve the Nat'l Championship.
Wow!! As a Nebraska fan I dont even want to think about what that Alabama Defense would to to Tmagic and Rex. South Carolina made us look silly in the second half, ugh, I fucking hate the SEC, but I damn sure respect it.
That was an LSU team that beat Oregon and West Virginia with ease. Yowser.
Congrats Bama on a great season and LSU it sure sucks you had to play them twice cause you got it done the first time, and I dont think there is any doubt you would have destroyed Okie State had they not F'd up against Iowa State. Great year LSU.

Alabama is PROBABLY the best team in the nation. That said, the BCS did NOT get it right. LSU beat everyone they played this year....so did Alabama.

The system is atrocious and once again there is no true "champion". Its a farce. No, I'm not mad at Bama, they are awesome. A little mad at LSU lol....but basically despise this system.
Also, tired of 7 weeks between games. Would have loved to seen this matchup 3-4 weeks ago. LSU sure looked rusty. I know its part of the system but my god, 7 weeks?
