not trying to question you or your source, but isn't the rose bowl obligated to have michigan play usc if usc loses to ucla. most likely won't happen, but if it does, i'm under the impression usc would play michigan. maybe i'm wrong, but i thought that was the deal. would be a much bigger draw as well imo.

i doubt the jump in the standings would be significant enough to hurdle them over the wolverines. if osu plays michigan in the title game, i think osu wins by 10+. giving tressel 50 days to prepare against lloyd carr is bad news for michigan. people act like the osu/mich game was close throughout. they had a garbage td to make it a 3 pt game. you can't just look at that final score to think it was a close game.

True a lot of ways you can cut the previous OSU/UM game. Does Troy Smith committ 2 turnovers again? Does OSu get two long fluky runs against a good UM defense? Does UM get the garbage TD near the end of a flaky call? Lot of questionable stuff that goes both ways

LSU will play in the game get 8.5 and win outwright. Mich will be disappointed it doesnt get the rematch. LSU will play their hearts out. Lots and lots of speed on this LSU team and the best WR corps in the nation!

they're not in yet, but it's looking more and more likely, lsu was the biggest beneficiary of all the upsets the past few weeks as they didnt have a sniff at a bcs bowl game 3 weeks ago but with mich-tex-cal-wvu-ark-aub all losing and lsu having their miracle comeback vs ole miss they might reap the rewards.

as for lsu getting 8.5.....care to wager a few thousand on that line????? no way in hell mich is fav by 8.5 over lsu, 3 at most and lsu might even be favored.

And I will reluctantly back them as the have probably the ntion's worst game day coach. He has as much talent if not more thna anyone and doesnt have a damn clue what to do with it.

8.5? If you really believe that I really have to question what you are thinking handicapping wise becasue that is so far off it is laughable..
