I haven't heard anything is Brantley out? I loaded up on Bama in the 2nd half of the fla game Sat night. I don't care how highly touted Driskell is he will get punched in the mouth here Sat. Our defense is similar to Bamas and at home were even nastier. I will play lsu all the way to -10.

Sources in Gainesville say he is not playing but Muschamp is addressing it at noon today.

Bama D is more technically sound than LSU. Bama LBs are miles ahead of LSU at this point. The Bama D is led by Saban, who is great at scheming and even better at teaching technique. LSU D is led by Chavis, who is a good coach, but is not a genius.

That said, I like LSU D, and remain quite hopeful that LSU can contend for a national title. It would be awesome to take my boys to a title game in the Superdome.

High ankle sprain is what I'm hearing as well. Muschamp said brantleys injury wont require surgery but that's all he said.

Couldn't agree with you more Cie. Although Bama really hasn't played the level of competition that LSU has. They played FLA who only had their starting QB half the game, granted they knocked him out and there stout but LSU's defense is a little better tested. And they did give up 1,000 yards to west va but I think a lot of that had to do with the game plan. I think Bama is probably #1 LSU 1a. I would love to see them play on a neutral site. Is the rule still in effect that only allows a conference to send 2 teams to the BCS?
