I am not sure how your conference determines rankings but Michigan was 6-2 and tied with illinois who they beat head to head. Wisconson was 5-3:shrug: Like I said your conference may reward more loses I dont know:shrug:

On a side note **** OSU!!

I was thinking that when the Rose choose my Iilini!:mj07: :mj07:

But then you base your SEC dominance and big 10 weakness on this game and bowl season, define hypocrisy

No No,

I base it off what I see w/ my own eyes.

I was just using the 2 NC games as examples such they are such high stakes game..

No team could not be motivated for a NC game unlike say the CompTech Bluebonnet Blue....

All of those teams would beat LSU too.

Good grief we are talking about a team that lost a month ago to Arkansas...at home...that Mizzou made look like a DII team...

I am not all that surprised LSU is winning...but they were damn fortunate that they got to play the one possible team they could beat

I think you might be right....the way Arky ran over LSU, I cant believe OSU lost sight of Beanie......but that WVA offense would light up LSU, I think.

Someone at work who does not follow CFB much asked how LSU did against UGA...sad to say, I had to tell them they did not play this year.....very bummed we did not get to see that game this year, but UGA didn't show up vs Tenn in early October.

Toldedo.

You're right about not seeing many undefeated SEC teams. In fact, I believe we wont see another team run through the SEC for at least 5 years.

The general rule of thumb in the BCS is gonna have to be: The SEC champ plays in the BCS championship game - its the only fair way to do it...

Look at 2004 - Why the hell was OU in the championship against USC? The SEC champ card trumps the Big 12 champ card in my book - and everyone else in the world's book - unless you work for ESPN

The SEC is the better conference but it is all arbitrary and bowl records is a joke as a justification. Matchups, different incentives and motivations, etc. SEC can cite the overall bowl record and act like the Florida loss and Arkansas ass raping are irrelevant...does Miss State winning its bowl game mean shit? Or Kentucky beating FSU's jv? Is the Big 12 better than the Big 10 because Okie State beat Indiana...or vice versa bc PSU beat AM....it's absurd.

i see what you're saying 3 sec.......but when big 10 and sec teams meet, i find it hard to believe that either one wouldnt be up for that game

If OSU loses this game it will somehow be called a "speed issue" and the eye test tells me these teams are even in that department.

I agree the Championship game should be the winner of the SEC against USC every year! And we know that USC dominates the SEC! So therefore USC will forever be the National Champs!
Why play any more games?:mj07:
