Yeah, there is that. I think part of it too was the fact that he's made bad decisions in the past as far as getting into trouble. Although I have to plead ignorance on that. The guy could be a choirboy for all I know.

Just looked at the Box Score.....LSU is killing them.....yet, they're down by 1 at half.
14-5 in first downs.....273 to 97 in total yards.....much RP discussion here, but he's completed to 8 different guys in an efficient first half effort......Vols only have 10 rushing attempts in the game.
We're talking a lot about Les, but how about the play calling by Phil when they got the ball near mid field there late in the half.....they could not do anything w/ it.

Bad decisons galore, both on and off the field. No doubt about it.
I just think if he stays out of trouble with the law (which has been difficult in the past), that he will become an excellent QB at LSU for the next 2 years. I am often wrong though!!

Ok, I know the Mallett to Arky rumors are out there, so sub in Steven Threet, transfer from GaTech, or Weinkie, the incoming recruit.
Either way, does not seem like a hard choice if you have seen either QB play.
Tenn has to answer or this game is going to become a rout.
