You cannot compare USC offense with OU offense. Norm CHow to OU OC. Lienart to White. USC is vastly superior in all areas to OU.

yea i agree scott, im just saying oklahoma has a great offense just as capable in putting up the points, just like USC does. But to me Oklahoma should of been there with there schedule, while USC did have some tough games as well, but I guess im not to convince of USC. To win at the rose bowl, which is basically home field advantage and to play against michigan, i dunno just hard for me understand i guess...:shrug:

I will say one thing & that is considering how all 3 teams finished up the year, the best game would have been LSU vs USC & the Trojans would have given a better performance in my opinion.

I watched the game. LSU defense is VERY GOOD. OU offensive coordinator is horrible. VERY BAD OC. White is a horrible QB. OU was running the ball well, but OU was afraid to keep running the ball. I do not know why. OU had ball on LSU 15, running down LSU throats, and they stop running. White had WR in the endzone for game tying TD and could not make the play. OU commited ton, A TON of penalties. Does LSU get credit for all that? OU beat themselves, and LSU played very well on defense. LSU only TD in 2h was off a White INT, horrible throw. Congrats to LSU on their BCS NC, but OU was a terrible team. USC is not, and USC has more weapons than OU and better coaches. You do the math, and USC would beat LSU. USC does not play like OU, USC plays more disciplined and has more playmakers.

Once again, i was impressed with the LSU defense, very good, but OU was horrible (and not just because LSU was so dominant).

I'm trying to figure out what the Vegas line would be for this game. . . I honestly believe that Vegas would release it at a PK. If they didn't, I believe they would release USC as a slight favorite. . . can't imagine them releasing LSU as the favorite for some reason.

i understand that too and all and maybe your right thats not a good point, but i dunno. White to me wasn't a fraud, one bad game and he sucks all of a sudden, thats hard for me to say. I guess what im thinking to my point was even if USC went down to the Superdome, they would of had the same problems with LSU's Defense.

White now has had 2 horrible games in a row, and just happens to be against his 2 toughest opponents. Krenzel did pretty good job against the KSU defense.

Vegas before this game, said USC would have been -1 over OU, so therefore USC would have been -7 over LSU.

Your logic on setting the pointspread is wrong. . . Vegas would not release a line based on anything close to another game being played. Basically, for setting a line for this mythical game, Vegas would not use their line set for OU vs. LSU to determine the LSU vs. USC line.

With all due respect, your statement shows how ignorant you are to how Vegas sets their lines! That would be like Stanford laying 14 to Washington State because Arizona would lay 17 but Arizona would be a 3 point favorite over Stanford. LOL. . . the lines aren't set that way buddy!
