68-60 WOW!!
1-0 tonight

Hudson 1 for 5 from deep (6 out of 17 FG), scary. Lucky that Bass and Lloreda came to play.

Gonna put those winnings on BYU -3!!!!!!!!!!!
Try to ride the train here.

thanks guys.....that one hurts, but we should be OK tonight, I had a lot on Notre Dame, and can have a great night if the parlay comes through with UNLV tonight.

Utah is really thin with injuries.....and they are very young. Not a good situation going against a despirate UNLV team. Should get a nice effort tonight.

Tease,

gman is no bullshitter. i was hoping for a push more than anything. i figured there was no way they could cover 6 with their FT shooting but they came through by the skin of Xavier Whipple's teeth.

i've been on the losing end of these same games for a while now and it's good to finally get something back. you had the right side, better luck next time. now gimme a hand with this horseshoe. :moon:

actually i thought the tipoff was later than it was so i didn't get it in, luckily. i took Utah for the 2nd half and they need to win by 3 so i'm now sweating this game out. :(

checking out tomorrow's slate, a lot of tough games. may have to look at NBA.

LSU waltzed through the game like they had NO respect for UNO. Privateers got smoking hot from beyond the arc in the 2nd half, somewhere around 6-7, which kept them in the game. LSU went through the motions, playing uninspired defense most of the night and not working the glass in the manner which they were capable. UNO guards played well, but they had little inside as Lloreda and Bass combined for about 13-17 from the field. Tigers played very poorly vs Zone, as they have for the last 4 or 5 games. No dribble penetration, no looks inside until final 4 minutes, just flat out ugly basketball from start to finish.

As for the the final foul with 2.2 seconds remaining,---the referees tried very hard not to call it, but UNO players fouled Whipple one after the other until the ref's were forced to blow a whistle.

Tigers have a collective "basketball IQ" of 0, are horrible from the stripe, take horrible shots, play out of control and do not close out on perimiter shooters.

I am circling the Miss St game in BR on Saturday, because depending on what happens to Miss St tonight, I can see them whipping the Tigers handily.

As expected Miss St handled LSU on Saturday. Again, I am circling LSU @ SC on the 24th for a probable LSU fade.

I will try to post more on this game after Wednesday.
