I feel your pain, he is nervous in the pocket and unsure of almost all of his decisions. They need to feed Ricky and hope Lucas does not kill us the rest of the half.....3 ints and counting.....almost a fourth

to all the miami backers....including me....i honestly thought that we had the game capped right....miami's D to dominate....and their offense to score enough to cover the spread....BUT....the ray lucas factor really killed it for us....i mean....how can you make up for at LEAST 17 BUFF pts due to his turnovers alone....not to mention the pts that MIA SHOULD have scored had he not turned it over so many freakin' times....UGHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!!!

I have been a Dolphins fan for 20 years, and I have been anti-Fiedler since day one. Lucas has a stronger arm and is much more mobile. He simply had a horrible game. It happens.
He needs time to adapt to Turners offense, anyone could easily see how uncomfortable he looked in the pocket.
Yes a tough one for everyone who had Miami yesterday and a tough loss to swallow as a Dolphins fan.
But Lucas will rebound and prove his worth.

first off, congrats to your incredible run in NHL, but I am wonderng your take on Lucas: Fielder's equal IYO? ... would like to know for future Fish plays?

Miami vs Buffalo *the implications* Jay vs Ray
Ray Lucas is 6-3 lifetime starter. I have watched him all pre-season and mini camp (in person). Ray is extremely athletic and will fill in nicely for Jay. It will be hard to tell the difference in the two accept Ray has a rocket for an arm. Ray has more ability to throw the deep ball. I think all will be very surprised by the play of Ray Lucas. I would not look for any angles on the betting line he does not downgrade this team one bit. This offense is built on a Norv Turner system. Ray can step right in and pick up where Jay left off. This system is TRULY about RICKY WILLIAMS.
Actions will prove Ray is credible.
I believe alot of people will take Buffalo this weekend based on Ray taking over for Jay. That will be a big mistake ! I will wait for the line to drop further it has from 5 now to 4.5. I will load up VERY BIG as Buffalo will come down to 88 degrees and 80 % humidity this weekend.

I am not saying Lucas is better than Fiedler.
I just have issues with Fiedler, I feel he has an above average QB IQ (maybe that is his Ivy league education) but I feel he lacks certain physical ability, espically arm strength and the ability to thread the needle.
I think Lucas (and how can you not agree) is far superior athlete and can represent the new breed of NFL quarterback (McNabb, Vick, etc..)
Now I am not saying Lucas is even in the same class with these guys as of yet, but I believe has potential to get to this level.
Fiedler is a QB who can plays within a system and hope that he does not make mistakes.
Lucas CAN be a qb that can add a whole new wrinkle in an offense and make plays on his own ability.
I hope Ray settles down and wins some games and shows some of that talent that has been sitting on the bench so long.
