Rutgers 2-December-2006 4:45 PM PST
Spread +10.5 for Game -111
With the hook here, I love Rutgers. Pat White hurt his ankle in practice and although he will play, I do not see him being AS effective as he has been in previous games. Schiano is one of the best at halftime adjustments and I think this Rutgers team can even win this game outright. Lot of tension going on in WVU with rumors swirling of Rodriguez possibly leaving for Alabama, which plays stronger to Rutgers side. South Florida shut down Pat White from running the football, which is what needs to happen for teams to beat them. Ray Rice is 5 yards short of the 1500 yard mark and he will undoubtedly get that and bunches more. In their only loss this season, it was the only game where Rice got under 20 carries. Look for him to get around 30 carries and have a huge day.
Selection 2: NCAA Football
USC 2-December-2006 1:30 PM PST
Spread -12.5 for Game +100
As much as i DISLIKE USC as a team, they are the right play here. I love the line fall, and see USC winning this game by 2 TD. Their past matchups have been extremely lopsided and that was with Maurice Drew on UCLAs end. Pete Carroll will not be content with winning this game by 7 or 10, he wants to make a point in this game so there is no doubt USC will get that national title bid. Booty has been sacked 7 times in the last 7 games, and I dont see him going down more than once in this contest. UCLA is 0-3 vrs ranked teams this year, being close with only Notre Dame who USC blew out of the water. Carroll will keep the pressure on the UCLA qb and be relentless in the 4th Q with his blitz schemes to try and force the big turnover late. Love USC by atleast 14 in this one.[

Wake Forest 2-December-2006 10:00 AM PST

Wake has been one of the most solid teams this season. Week in and week out, they have handled business. All the talk is around Reggie Ball and how he hasnt had 2 bad games in a row really in his career, but Ball has not played well in big games. GT will look to establish the run early, but Wake will be up to the challenge. These 2 teams, talent wise, dont matchup and clearly Georgia Tech has more talent, but WAke will win this game because of coaching. Grobe may be the coach of the year and an ACC championship would all but give him that award.
