Played the following overnight for $300 to win $250 .. I know I said I will flat bet $100 .. . I just thought this play warranted more money as it is a very strong play and line shud go down tomorrow

Dodgers Pitcher Nomo

Nomo has pitched 102 innings in 14 games and has an ERA of 2.74 .. he has allowed 11 HR in 102 innings - 46 walks and 82 strikeouts. Nomo has allowed 32 runs in 102 innings - 31 Earned Runs. Has allowed 72 hits in 102 innings.

In last 6 games Nomo has gone thru 7 innings at least. Nomo has pitched 12.2 innings against Cleveland with an ERA of 5.68
Nomo has pitched 7 innings @ Jacobs Field with an ERA of 3.86

In the Daytime Nomo has pitched 16 innings with an ERA of 0.56
He has an ERA of 1.69 while pitching on the road.

Last time out I think:
Nomo allowed one earned run and three hits in seven innings at Detroit. He did walk five batters, but also struck out six in the no-decision.

The Dodgers Pen has been very solid. Gagne had pitched in 4 straight games so he got the night off on Saturday and shud be avaialable on Sunday.

Cleveland Pitcher Traber

Traber has pitched in 36 innings giving up 19 runs all ER. Has allowed 3 Home Runs in the 36 innings. Has walked 22 and struck out 33 .. Has allowed 40 hit in the 36 innings. Has an ERA of 4.75

Traber's numbers at home are relatively better. At Jacob's field he has pitched 16.2 innings .. 6 walks .. 18 strikeouts and an ERA of 4.86 .. Day numbers are not good with ERA of 6 but has pitched only 3 innings.

Last game:

Billy Traber allowed two runs on five hits and two walks in four innings Tuesday in Colorado. He was lifted early in the game because he had already reached manager Eric Wedge's 70-pitch limit. "I threw too many pitches early," said Traber. "I was my own worst enemy.

I dont think Nomo is gonna give a lot of runs away. Similarly I dont think LA is gonna score a whole lot.

I think LA wins this one 4 - 1.

Totally see your reasoning for this play but something just scares me about this...Thid may be a strange angle, but if you can, look up the Indians numbers when they play on Sundays...

If I remember, I believe quite a few of there games have gone over. But then again, that's when they had Burks and Vizquel in the lineup. I bet for certain, that number falls before gametime so good move at getting that at 9..

The under is 7-2 in Nomo's last nine starts.
The under is 24-8 when LA is on the road.
The under is 7-1 in LA last eight overall.
The under is 9-3-1 in Cleveland's last 13 overall.
The under is 9-4 when wind is 0-10 MPH.

The Dodgers have not given up more than 3 runs in 14 games.
Dodgers have averaged just 2.8 runs in Nomo's last 8 starts


Nomo has allowed three earned runs or fewer in 11 of 14 starts this year, pitching at least seven innings in all but one. He's been particularly good on the road, going 4-2 with a 1.69 ERA. Nomo, among the top five in the NL in ERA and innings pitched (102), is 1-3 with an 8.56 ERA against Cleveland.

I think its time for Nomo to change things around against Cleveland.

The rookie left-hander has started in his last two appearances and has been awful in three starts this season, going 0-2 with a 6.92 ERA. Traber was ripped for five runs and 11 hits over 4 2-3 innings in Tuesday's 8-5 win over San Diego. Traber, who grew up and still lives in southern California, is facing the Dodgers for the first time.

Pitcher from California .. Hoping he can spread out the hits and control LA offence.

Nomo doing great job .. only 101 pitches thrown .. he is taken out and the basterds who come in to pitch give up 3 singles in a row ..

I throw it nowhere .. I return them to God ..

Same like I do with all the money that I earn. God has a huge share of my winnings.

I collect all the money in a towel and tie it up. Then I throw the towel in the air and chant "Oh God in Charge of Sports Dept. . Please take whatever you want from my offerings and return the rest to me" .. The bag has to be thrown up at least 10 feet so that God has enough time to take the offerings. What ever falls back to this poor Vulcan .. Spock keeps.
