Playing the following today :
1. Boston / Toronto Under 8
Lowe's confidence must be high after the all Star game. Bonds not being in Boston's lineup will increase Halladay's confidence also. This guy has a low ERA at home but does not have run support. The Ump is good for the Under going Under 12 times out of 17 games.
Jays will not get a lot of runs off Lowe and Halladay to keep his great season intact will pitch 7 great innings. I hope to god that Jays can somehow get out of 2 innings w/o giving up 9-10 runs. If they can achieve this monumental task then the Under is a good bet.
2. Philly / Mets Over 8.5
Look for the offence to continue from last night. The jokers cost me the under. Wind shud be good for the Over. Bull pen suspect for both and I tihnk this game has good chance of going over the total.
3. Houston Over 9 = PUSH
These jokers from Houston have been hitting the ball well lately and been producin some runs. The Ump is an Over Ump going
15 - 4 Over. Reds can manufacture 4-5 runs and Houston also the same. I think this game will see around 13 runs.
4. Arizona / LA Under 7
Yesterday we got a push with Zona uncharacteristically scoring 2 runs in the first inning. That just should not happen with these jokers. They should be happy with the $$ they are gettin and come out and go to the dug out by strikin out either swingin or lookin or better still ground into double plays. Schillin wanna win after All star break and he will pitch good.
5. Texas / Minny Over 10
I think Texas should be able to get 5-6 runs off Minny. Minny shud get 2-3 runs by the 7'th inning. Once the Texas bull pen comes into the picture the game should go over the total as there will be around 4-5 runs scored in the bottom 7 and 8 innings.
6. Atlanta ML
Atlanta on the road will have to bat thru 9 innings. Also they have seen Okha and get to him early. Maddux will wanna pitch well and win against the team that is chasin them. Go with the hot team.
7. Zona ML
Usin same logic of Schillin winning .. yesterday's win must have given them a boost. Zona will prevail as they wanna gain ground in the standings.
8. Yankee's -1.5
Clemens wanna get back on track. Yankee's have won 8 out of last 10 starts by Clements. Again better team on the road so will defi bat in the ninth inning. After the debacle yesterday of the Yankee closer Torre should have the sense not to send that joker out again.
9. Tampa Bay / Seattle Under 8.5
Tampa Bay sux against lefties and Moyer WILL pitch 8 innings .. well hopefully .. Seattle not great in offence these days but do manage to put up more than a couple of runs .. . Ump not great for the Under but then again when team cannot get bat on ball there is little the umpire can do than call strikes.
Final score will be something like 3-1 Seattle
