A quick update from UConn FB coach Randy Edsall?s afternoon chat with the local scribes:
? LB Scott Lutrus is on track to play, and start, for the first time since UConn?s opener.
?He?ll be starting,? Edsall said. ?He did a good job this week in practice.?
The Brookfield native has missed three games with a shoulder stinger.
?Once he makes his first play, he?ll be fine,? Edsall said. ?It?s like riding a bike. You don?t forget how to ride a bike once you ride it. When you play football, you don?t forget how to play football.?
? Aaron Bagsby will start at strong safety. He apparently won the mini-battle with Jerome Junior.
? QB Zach Frazer will serve as Cody Endres? backup this week.
Edsall said that Frazer was ?full go? in terms of his health (knee).
? TE Ryan Griffin (back) won?t start but should see some action against Pittsburgh.
?He?ll play in the game,? Edsall said. ?Right now John Delahunt is the starter but Ryan Griffin is going to play.?
