Siena -1.5 over Marist ****
Jumped n this line last night..think its up to -2.5 at some places...don't think it matters much...Pastos the Siena coach is on the hot seat...no way should he be on it...he lost 4 starters who I think all had 1,000 pts...this year was a rebuilding year..they are 4-9 but much better then their record shows.. Rico C had 29 pts the other nite..they had Memphis on the ropes and lost by 4....Shivers and Penn are playing great.. Prince O is avg 8 pts and 4 bds..the Prince is listed ? for tonite with a sprain..there offense esp with Rico is pretty solid..its the saints defense that has some holes in it ranking them in the 300's...but my Foxes are worse..they are 2-10 and their recent loss to Brown was a season dagger,esp for Maker their coach..Brown held them to 31 pts at the half..they can't rebound,turn the ball over and there defense is worst then Siena's ranking 336th..they can't play man/man so they will play there 2-3 zone..they have a stud in Parker a 6'2 lefty gd who can penetrate...but their front line is so bad in rebounding Parker is the top rebounder on the team...Lamb ha sbeen playing better.. Knudson is avg 10 pts a game..Dozic is over 6'6 and everyone thought he would be an impact player..and were waiting..
Foxes are so bad they had to change their mascot uniform because he carried a gun...NY state doesn't allow concealed weapons or weapons to be shown...not sure why a fox would carry a rifle anyway...both teams play terrible defense..think the Saints with Rico have much more offense...home crowd tonite...nobody..students are on break and its 5 degrees outside...so its CYO nite..around 200-300 kids with their parents get in free tonite..and these little bastards do make noise..but not enough..Think Saints win this by 6-10 points on the road...
Rider +2. Canisius ****
Wrong team favored...Rider has had a few days off but Scott hit a buzzer 3 pt to beat Penn St 71-70...Broncos came running on the court jumping on each other as 12,000 Lion fans were stunned ...great win on the road..just hope "heads aren't to swollen " because conf starts tonite... Rider has the best pt gd in the MAAC in Jordan...when I saw him vs Marist a few years ago you could tell this kid can play...Vaughn and Marshall could be the 2 best fd tandem in the league...but Allen last yrs MAAC rookie of the year is thier top scorer... they avg 82 points a game...but again like many MAAC teams they are not a good defensive team...Griffs have Crumpton and Reese and both can score...Reggie who was fired by Buffalo is their coach...high octane offense type..so Griifs will speed up the game..Jordan at the point negates the Griffs home court..Rider offense will be to much to handle for Griffs...Rider could sneak in with the higher ups in the MAAC...sleeper team..beating Penn St a decent B-10 was no fluck. Rider wins outright..might play ML too

Scott and Dukes..lead the MAAC in scoring avg 23 and 22 pts a game..for the Purple..this game could be a shootout...Edogi for Iona is tough inside..McGill is outstanding for Iona ..if Purple can get another scorer here or there they could win this game tonight..Iona cannot play any defense...that is why the MAAC is a tough conf to capp...other then St Peters no one plays defense..and Peter has no offense so they lose...
UTA -4.5 over Coastal ****
Again Neal at the point leads the nation in assists..cool calm and collective...he has Hervey one of the best players in the country..Hawkins and Wilson next to him and big wide body,looks like he is 27 yrs old in 7'1 Hamilton from the from VT....think the Mavs win big..
Kansas -4 over Texas **
Was going to the game but...my wife kayaks on Lake LBJ or Colorado river every week..tonite is there Christmas party at a restaurant..{ dog lover not on the river} so I must go...
Texas has talent but is missing something...Coleman is a nice pt gd,outside shooting suspect,FT shooting worse..Bamba has them in every game with his presence..Osetkowski is outstanding...if Texas wins today its because of him..don't think the Texas press will have any effect on KU..Erwin Center has only a 1,000 seats left for sale..But Jayhawk fans will have at least 5000-8000 there...think Newman and Devonte are tough for KU..Sevi M at 6'9 can shoot,and Vick is there best scorer...and Bamba who has been dominating everybody meets up with Azubulke at 7'0...should be a great matchup..also Texas top scorer Jones might be back tonite...KU has not played its best games yet..think tonite on opening nite in the Big 12 they wake up..
Appa St -3.5 over Texas St **
Was going to take the under because both teams can't score...but the last 2 times they played the score was 67-58 and 68-55...but the under is 110.. I think..damn that is to low..but Appa at home has an advantage small play..
