Rider +1.5 over Iona ***

Here we go again... Rider has the best starting 5 in the conf.. 4 of those guys have over 1,000 pts each,,pre-season pick to win the MAAC and are fighting for a position in the MAAC tourney..they are 15-10 and 3-10 ats on the rd...and thats why everyone is playing Iona tonite..Rider avgs 73 pts a game and gives up 69..and there lies its problem..there FG %,3pt%,is about avg.. they can rebound well avg 34 a game...but they are one of the worst FT% teams in the country ranking them 315th.. Vaughn is there best player at 6'5.. Jordan is one of the best pt gds in the conf.. Marshall avgs 12 pts and 8 bds ..Scott who is 6'8 avgs 13 and likes to play outside..they did win there last 4 or 5 games but got smoked at Siena the other nite..they have the 2nd worst coach in the MAAC...good news is Tim Cluess from Iona is the worst..Iona is having an off year at 9-13 ..they have gone dancing the past 4 or 5 years and are always loaded with offensive stars .they own the MAAC..but they lost almost everyone with Crawford the only one back... this team was always No 2 or 3 in the country in scoring and in the mid 300's in defense..but this year they rank 228 and avg 69 pts ...defense is better then the past but gives up 71 pts a game..they can't rebound and can't defend the 3... but they do shoot FT's well.Iona beat Rider at there place already 69-66...so think that is why everyone is on Iona tonite...both teams have played better recently...both have awoken somewhat..both teams have terrible coaches and Iona does play better at home and Rider bad on the rd,,,but I'm going with the better overall team in Rider...when they played last month against each other Rider had more FG's but shot 10-24 from the FT line..in a 1 pt loss that really hurt...
think the over at 148 looks good to both teams can score and both are bad on defense,,but Rider needs to hit a few more FT's ..think Rider can get a win here tonite..
