Rider +8 over St Peter ***
Again hate everything about Rider but again Dimenico Vaughen although only avgs around 13-14 pts has awoken He has had back to back +20 games and is rebounding playing defense. Just 2 years ago he was the pre-season POY of the MAAC. Then transferred to Mississippi where he played about 7 minutes a game and avg 2 pts. Transferred back to Rider where he had almost 2,000 pts and tons of rebounds. He was supposed to be an impact player back in NJ but although one of their leading scorers and re bounders he has only avg 13 pts a game. But think now with the tourney getting near he has awakened with back to back 20 pt games. And their coach who I hate Baggett didn't get fired last year. I was wrong the other day. He should be with all the talent he had he was but cannot teach defense. Peter has trouble scoring but does play solid defense. Peter already beat Rider 58-51 but that was pre Dimenico . Because Peters offense is so bad think even though Rider can't play any defense think they can keep this close Peter is coming off a big win vs Marist but I'm putting my *'s on Rider and Vaughen keeping it close.
Manhattan +5.5 over Monmouth **
Hawks have the better team just think Jaspers playing at home can keep this close. Jaspers forgot how to play defense. Maybe guard Pappas who is on fire for the Hawks MC's Perez can score and has most of last yrs team back I'm surprised their defense is bad Last yr Jaspers were in the 300's in FG% 3 pt shooting etc But its defense kept them in games. Masillo their coach is a Pitno disciple so maybe he has his kids at home tonight playing some D
St Louis -6 over Bonnies ****
No way I am getting off this train. they just win and cover every week, Yuri leas the nation in assists at 8.4. This kid goes coast to coast on some plays They have some good shooters around him and Okaro in the middle. the Oregon transfer They avg almost 80 pts a game but its their defense thats more impressive. Last year they were 7-1 and the whole team contracted Covid 19 . These guys are good and dangerous. With the best pt gd in the country he has 6'5 Jimmerson next to him. Nesbitt and Thacth are solid this is a good team and could win the A-10 . Bonnies were thought to be the best team in the A-10 and are loaded. Bonnies coming off big win vs Fordham but tonight the Billikens present another challenge .. I am on the St louie train tonight.
Iona -8.5 over Siena **
Think the Iona gds Jolly and Joiner are a tough combo to stop Also Joseph in the middle . Saints give up almost 70 pts on defense. Pitino's boys can score and play defense.
Oakland -7 over R, Morris ***
Morris can't play defense. NKU --8 over Wisky GB ***and GB cannot play defense
NKU have won a few straight games and 8 out of 10 last games. These guys can shoot and drive and kick out to the open man Norsemen are solid
Col St -6 over Fresno **
