Iona -2 over Loy Md ****
Both teams are 11-2 in the conf and have won 9 of last 10 games or 8-10...these guys are steamrolling thru the MAAC...Manhattan and Fairfield..move over...Iona beat Loy by 11 at their place...Greyhounds have Walker and Cormier inside and Olson who had 25 their last time they played..Drummond can score...Loy is a solid team..But Iona is the class of the conf...Machado and Momo Jones are the two best gds in the MAAC and they both play on the same team...Glover is the POYr scoring and rebounding.Smyth is back and Jenkins and Armond can score...MAAC stats...Iona is No 1 in conf in scoring,scoring margin,FG% 50%,Rebounding,3pt % ..Loy is in 4th,5th etc in most of those...they rank No 1 in blocked shots and are a better defensive team....Iona wins the assist-turnover ratio by a lot...and has hit 183's to Loys 122 in the same amount of games...Iona beat them by 11 killing them on the bds...Machado leads the nation in assists and Momo was named POY of the week the other day...close game but Iona has to much talent and depth...and I love good gds on the road...they take away some of that home court cooking...Iona wins by 6-8 pts...
