Fairfield +12 over Siena ****
These are the two top teams in the conf going head to head.Stags have solid gds a good frontline with Nero and co.The play tough defense and think this game will be close.Saints are coming off a "war" with Holy Cross the other nite.Big time physical game were there were 55 fouls and 46 Ft's.HC was missing its pt gd and other players so Willard probaly had his kids push and shove.Fran refused to shake hands with him at the end of the game.Think Siena could of used a few days off.Stags are coming off a UConn loss a week ago.Like the double digit number when the stags have Han a solid gd and a frontcourt just as good as the saints.Both teams can't shoot Ft's or 3's.
Iona -6 over Rider **
Rider is still having problems adjusting with there "aircraft carrier". You would think by now they have figured it out.They are and up and down team.Thompson has taken some of the slack from his older brother but they do have 4 starters back.Mansell is tough and front line is pretty good.Iona is the biggest mystery team in the MAAC. They lose Springer there top scorer and rebounder.They can't rebound and have no outside shooters yet they play tough.Lose to Wisky,Ohio St,etc in tough games.I got to watch them last week vs USF and finally won taking the Bulls.but after watching the entire game I can see why I lost going against them.There defense and pressing is unreal.Talk about hustling,being in shooters faces,pressing,etc.Willard there coach is a Pitino disciple and how ironic.His father is the HC coach that beat up Siena.That should be a good game in a few weeks.Taking the Gaels for a small play at home.

I was invited to the Marist-St Peter game tomorrow nite.I'll be there cheering.....don't know yet...need to capp it...happy new year.
