Peter is just kicking ass..is in 2nd place on the MAAC...has won big in last 4 games...Peter doesn't beat teams by double digits but they are doing it now...Wyche and Welton are so steady..both last yr made 2nd team all MAAC.. Portley was made all frosh team last yr and he is scoring....the 3 transfers are playing well...don't sleep on the Peacocks..Purple has Scott the best player out there..they have some scorers but they cannot defend..they had a run but now have lost 5 of last 6...think Donne has his kids playing very well and will not slip tonite vs the worst team in the MAAC..can't see a let down game...
Siena +10.5 over Monmouth **
Line was +8.5 but jumped up..so I will bite...Saints are talented...2nd best pt gd in Wright..unfortunately he is going against the best in Robinson tonite...Hawks are crushing everyone..24-5 and won the conf last week..they are no 1 seed..and like I said last week..they won't let up knowing last yr they won 25 games and didn't get the big dance invite...they need to win the MAAC....Hawks are avg 81 pts a game and what scares me is they are shooting 3's from all over and hitting them...Saints defense isn't to bad...think they can keep this close and not get blown out like everyone else....Saints have won 4 of last 5 and with Clareth back they will score...
Fairfield +5 over Canisius **
Running Griffs get beat by Marist the other day...they avg 80 pts a game but give up 79...they have 4 guys avg double digits..beat Fairfield the 1st time 86-72...but they still rank 317th on defense...they are 10-8 in conf..Stags are 9-9...Stags coming off blowout loss by 20 to Monmouth..but d have the leading scorer in the MAAC in Nelson..Cobb,Segura,Sid and Johnson are playing better..think they give the Griffs are good game...
Iona -10 over Manhattan *
Who the hell knows what Iona team is showing up...they have lost 2 of last 3..trailed the entire Marist game but pulled it out with a minute to go...don't think one Jasper could start for the Gaels..yet they suck...avg 80 pts but give up 77...Jaspers are just as bad on defense.they have lost 4 of last 5..are 10-20 ...since Mahattan is only 15 minutes away from the Iona campus its not really a road game...lean towards Gaels but closing me eyes when I make the play...
Dayton -2 over Davidson ****
Loved that line this morning and jumped on it..think its up to -3 now...love this team...have won 7 in a row...Schoochie is tough..love Cooke....think one of the most underrated players in the country...there so well coached...play outstanding defense...help side is awesome...have 3 guys that have hit +34 3 pointers...only weakness is not a big front line..in the NCAA's that might hurt them..one of their biggest advantages is that they are all vets.. Pollard,Smith,Cooke etc have been there before...David has been up and down this yr...Flyers are the best team in the A-10...and I think Archie Miller is the best coach....
