Recap on the Siena-Monmouth game .....I loved Siena +7 over Monmouth...strong play......then my buddy or spy in Albany tells me Clareth is questionable..then I get a text,,he is 75% out....so thats enough to swing me to Monmouth....not a big play because my heart is with the Saints but Hawks have won 18 in a row,etc....did not know Hawks 2nd best scorer and player Seaborn is out....if I knew that would of switched back to the Saints...didn't get a text from my buddy because he is concentrating on his saints....think Seaborn status was posted but was out all afternoon....Monmouth dominating in the 1st half,think up by 17 or something..checked my phone and glad I didn't change the play.......at half time Clareth screams at Patos and says put me in..my ankle is OK....Clareth then hits 7 3's scores 27 points and Saints win the game by 89-85 ...I get a text from my buddy " Clarth is in and hitting 3's from all over.....WTF.....I am 0-35 when changing my original play....so that leads us up to tonite......think I have said this about 10 times here..Siena is the best 16-16 team in the country....
Siena +2.5 or +3 over Iona ****
These guys split both winning away against each other...Iona on offense is loaded...they avg 80 pts a game,have 3 or 4 gds that can score from anywhere...their Achilles heel is inside..they have only 1 post player Washington..leading scorer and re bounder 17-7...their gds do a lot of rebounding....or swing man....they shoot fg% 45 and are a good FT shooting team....their defense is bad....teams can drive to the basket,no help side,and no one draws an offensive foul....get Washington in foul trouble,.. he has improved this yr because last yr he spent almost 20 minutes on the bench every game...Severe scares me because he is capable and has the talent to hurt the saints..thank god Iona doesn't know that....Cassell,Much,McGill and Cash are all talented....but Saints have Wright the 2nd best pt gd in the conf....this kid is tough...can penetrate,shoot,pass and rebound....Long is the unknown quite scorer who ends up with 14 pts,7 rebounds and everyone says" where the hell did he come from"...Bip and Ogun are the big guys inside..both 6'8 or 6'9....they need to be tough inside...Ogun is a def player and will be on Washington..and then you have Rico..suspended for 6 or 7 games...comes back for a few and avg 14 pts..then gets hurt and doesn't play in the semi's....demands to play and scores 27.....its only a hollywood ending if they win tonite....the fans were screaming Clar eth, Rico,Rico.....and another factor...this Siena team has all 5 starters back from last yr..and lets not forget the most important factor.....this games is in Albany..Saints get the best crowds of any MAAC team....tonite in Albany it will be packed....I'm sure it has to be a sellout...in the beginning of the year they asked Patos a question...his answer is in this yrs Blue Ribbon...."all we care about is Monday nite" the writer asked" what do you mean Monday nite..Patos answered " thats the MAAC championship game nite".... and I think Siena will be going to the Senior Prom...and Clareth won't have to say "put me in coach"...
St Marys -7 over BYU ****
Mary beat them by 13 pts twice...BYU knocks off Zaga and now they are big kid on the block..they have Mita and Haws both excellent players....but they struggled vs Loy the other day..Mary is tough...Near,Rahon and Herminson are one of the best trio gds in the country...talk about passing and finding the seams..clinic basketball....bounce passes,etc...they have the aircraft carrier in Landale..they can hit the 3 shoot 50% FG,and play defense..double digit win for Mary.....problem is winner gets "you know who"....
Zaga -21.5 over Santa Clara ****
SC has lost 2 of last 3...Zaga beat them by 33 already....Zaga tripped and fell...already....so much talk about should they be the 1 seed etc....there is no way that are tripping again...Karnski.Mathews,Collins,Williams are so tough..and -Goss....he should be 1st team All American....other then UCLA's Ball I think he is one of the best player in the country....Zaga wins by +30
Albany -2 over Stoney Brook **
Its NCAA time... Grear Danes win this on the rd....by the way think they beat Siena way back....they have 2 soph gds Cremo and Nichols that are outstanding...crazy story... Nichols sister just died a few days ago...he got back to Albany and had 40 pts in yesterdays game...Warney graduated from SB..thank god..Pickeill left for Rutgers...think its a sweep for the State Capital on NY..both could be dancing partners at the Senior Prom..

Pretty even teams but Jackrabbits have 6'9 Daum one of the leading scorers in the country avg 29 pts..when even teams play always go with the superstars team...

NC Green won both games this year.. I lost a few **'s backing ETSU in thsi game...tonite I get back a few boxes..no way NC is going to win 3 in a row...ET is a team nobody wants in the 1st round...
