My 2 favorite conferences going head to head....both teams have won over 20 games and have lost 13. both teams play great defense..Peter is ranked 10th and Bobcats 18th..both play a slow down offense..very deliberate..both teams are not very good on offense...Peter has won 8 of 9 getting beat by iona who won the conf tourney...Tx lost to Troy in the finals...both teams are not in the headlines in any papers....Kasper was on the radio yest begging for more fan support..in last win over Idaho they had a big crowd....so today expect big fan support... but Peter who gets no fan support is 9-7 on the rd....Peter is the blue collar team....
Peter has the better center in Welton....he leads the team in scoring..Wyche is another solid gd..Griffin has stepped up and Portley is a freshman....KGT was Tex St only true scorer....but frosh Pearson has just played outstanding taking the scoring pressure off KGT....Pearson has scored 16,18,7,14,16,20 and 15 in last games...and he is driving to the basket...KGT has NBA shooting range but gets into early foul trouble.. King the big kid does the same....he is wide body but think vs Welton today he could be sitting...Tx Gds Conley and Black have stepped up their game recently....think Peter has the overall better team and don't think playing away will effect their game...Bobcats could really be up if they get the crowd behind them...I think its going to be a low scoring game with Peter winning a close on 65-61....both teams have covered the under..both teams have great ATS numbers...119.5 is the under..so I have to take the over...really looking forward to seeing these teams and conferences clash....Kasper has done a great job with the talent he has....his defense is outstanding..beating teams like UTA who has better players in all 5 positions.. Donne has also done a great job at Peter....Peter has a high school facility and when softball season starts he has to make sure he can get the gym....will be cheering for the Peacocks today..

Box. After reading the first paragraph I would think you would be on the under. Just wondering if the defenses are so good and offenses so bad and deliberate, why over?

Just got back from the game....had so much fun sitting 1 row behind Dunne and the bench...its fun listening to all their time outs....the game started with 12-0 Texas. run.then 16-2....on the 1st 4 possessions on both teams the shot clock went down to 1 second before either team shot.. I knew in the 1st 4 minutes of this game it was going under and what in the hell I'm I doing taking the over...Jordan your right..the under was to good to be true and I'm over thinking....both teams can't shoot...and Peter was 3-19 from the 3 and Texas 2-20...the only difference was Peter had open uncontested shots and Texas has someone in their face the entire game....Just like I said King their big kid had foul trouble with Welton...had 3 quick fouls scored 5 points and fouled out with 8 or 9 minutes left...KGT had Chazz in his face all game...if I had to give out an MVP award for this game its Chazz..he scored 3 pts and had 2 rebounds..so box score doesn't show much but he was in KGT grill the entire game..KGT was 0-4 from the 3 and had 2 airballs....and just like I said he was in foul trouble the entire game....had 2 fouls in 1st half..sat out...with 30 seconds into the 2nd half he picked up his 3rd pushing Chazz for an offensive foul...Welton got pissed at Dunne when he took him out.... Welton walked over to the end of the bench and refused to talk to coach....Dunne yells out to him: that's fine,,sit you ass out there referring to the end of the bench....Welton didn't go back in the game until a timeout and walked behind the coach and apologized in the huddle...." my bad coach but I'm getting hit inside"...then Dunne says'' Do you want to fuck'in play or not because you can sit your ass at the end of the bench all game"... Welton.."I want to play coach",,,fine go in for Idowu....Welton didn't play to good because Texas collasped on him..but at the end of game he had 4 blocked shots a la Bill Russell...on 2 of those blocks they were weakside help blocks where he came out of nowhere...on one block Pearson thought he scored before he realized his shot was blocked and Peter is fast breaking...
both teams played great defense...Peter couldn't score and Texas couldn't either...Portly was 1-6 from the 3 all in the corner with no one on him...
Baker for Peter came off the bench and scored 10 pts..he's 6'1 and his vertical jump is amazing...on a dunk the entire gym was stunned....
The Gym....about 1/3 full..nobody there..shame on Texas St....no cheerleaders...the middle school cheerleaders of San Marcus did the cheering....the TxSt dance team the "strutters" are one of the best in the country....over 70 girls that dance and do all the home games...they performed at Trumps inauguration...no shows....I cannot understand that.....imagine your cheerleaders are middle school kids with 3 of them with braces....I asked about 4 or 5 Tx State students on the way out where where the "strutters and cheerleaders ..they were all surprised they weren't there...there was no softball or baseball game going on campus....I know its the CBI or CIT but your team has won 20 games and no one shows up to the biggest game in 10 years....

Also the refs....some tough calls at the end went to Peter....on a call underneath a ref called a pushing foul on Tex....didnt look like any contact..the crowd went crazy....ref had to tell 3 people in the crowd to sit down...but the replay guy on the scoreboard ran it 3 times....each time the crowd went crazier...ref went over to the table and told him " run that one more time and your out of here"...all 3 refs were pissed at Tex St replaying a controversial call...not sure if there is a rule about that but you never see that...Kasper had to go tell his guy at the table to stop it,, crowd was booing so loud....Dunne yells out sarcastically " how many times are they going to show the replay"....in the final minutes Peter got every call...and a few of those were 50/50 calls..

I never saw these refs... I think the Refs come from the MAAC and the Sun gets the home court...not sure but Dunne knew these guys and was talking to them during warmups....my favorite line of the game... a loose ball

....Tex dives for it and recovers it and calls time out on the floor...Peters, Enechionyia couldn't pick up the ball...Dunne yells at him in the huddle " can you fuck'in dive for the ball...just fuck'in once..we played 30 fuck'in games and you never dived once"...and then he took him out....lol
Had a blast watching the game....why I didn't pay the under just amazes me...at least then won and covered...

Going to miss my Tex St games....when Tx was up 16-2 Kasper put in 4 freshman on the floor...all he needs is another scorer and they will be good next year...
