Looks good, but I think if I ate something like that right now I would have a stomach ache for most of the night.

Having said that, I'm going to Mickey D's for lunch today. I have not eaten there for several months. I will have to see what they have on the menu. Chipotle and McDonalds, my 2 faves for fast food. Was doing Smashburger for a while a few years ago but gave up on it.

First off that looks like something they feed the homeless. Secondly when you guys get older and you're a type 2 diabetic you'll wish you'd never eaten all the processed junk food that you are currently eating. :0corn

I seldom eat fast food, and when I do it's for one reason - convenience. I would say 1 day out of 30 I eat fast food, usually pack my lunch and eat healthy food.

When I go out to eat for dinner I don't eat junk. For example, I went out to eat yesterday and my wife and I had sushi. We also go get steaks or seafood sometimes. Sometimes we'll go for Vegetarian places or Chinese. Places we don't go to are Middle Eastern, Korean, or other ethnic places that we may have tried once but did not like.

We don't keep chocolate in the house because my wife is type 1. I'm 6'2 and 200 lbs and in pretty decent shape so I definitely don't need advice on eating habits. My wife is in excellent shape for a type 1 diabetic. Having said that I see nothing wrong with splurging once in a while, I would even say it's good to do it as long as it's a rare occurrence.

Cheers,

+1^ what kneifl said, it's ok to eat junkyish food every now and then

about that burger, looks like "bread part" is deep fried, had while a go similar (self made ahem...) burger
but top and bottom were made putting layer of puff pastry dough in a cup and then some mac&cheese
on it. put it in the owen until dough is slightly over done and crispy and there you have top/bottom
parts of the burger. pretty easy to do with ready dough & mac&cheese, just add some chili & herbs to m&c.
