Who is Marshall to lay points to a very good Eastern Michigan ball team??? Buffalo destroyed Marshall by using thier inside game. Buffalo controlled the inside game by outscoring the Herd by a 38-10 margin in the paint and also ran out on the break to score 16 points to Marshall's two. The Herd will have to deal with James Jackson who is one of the best rebounders in the MAC and one of the best in the history of Eastern Michigan basketball. I dont think AW Hamilton is gonna be able to defend Markus Austin at all...and if Marshall plays that 2-3 zone that they love so much, the Eagles will easily handle it as it will leave oppurtunities for Austin and Cotrill. This Eastern team is on a roll, and its not like the Herd have a strong home court advantage. Marvin Black has been playing with bad knees...and I Jarsin is too stubborn to use his freshman guards. Marshall seems to be giving up and Eastern Michigan seems to have found new life...

good luck.

like the play. dont agree that eastern michigan is a good club,let alone a very good club. but marshall has always been a garbage chalk. so i think emu should hang very close.

Damn Hellah, I was hoping that you would be a little stronger on Ball State. I was just about to make a post that Ball State was my favorite MAC game so far this year.

I like those plays, especially Ball State getting pts. They lost by 4 at Kalamazoo earlier and were homered by the refs; only 4 FTA for the game and WMU had 22. And I saw the earlier NIU/Toledo game; Toledo buried them in DeKalb. Now NIU has to come back on 1 day rest after blowing a lead against one of the worst spread teams in the country (CMU).

BUT.......

There should be no such thing as a 50 unit play........just my opinion.

There is no game that strong (imho) and I've never heard of a reasonable mm approach that incorporates wagers of that size in relation to a unit play.

MAC is most assuradely your strong suit and I'll be rooting for you tonight!!
