**GOY**
Ohio -4.5 hosting Buffalo
- I can tell ya that nobody but probably the wise guys know that those 3 Buffalo players got booted from the team. Plus Buffalo on the road sucks and in the MAC, home court is everything. Buffalo has lost 17 conf. road games in a row I think. This is a 3-10 Ohio team favored for a reason...

Bowling Green +9.5

Eastern Michigan +6.5

Kent St PK

Still looking at Toledo/Marshall and CMU/Ball St

Leaning CMU and Marshall

hellah,
best of luck with your play. couple of things... do you happen to know Ohio's record ATS? They have only won one game at home, which bothers me. The three players Buffalo lost were not significant... a senior who missed the first twelve games of the season, and two scrubs who averaged .2 and .4 points, barely a whopping half a point of scoring. Just wondering why else you like this game besides home court advantage for Ohio, please forgive me for the questions but I would appreciate your insight since this is your area of expertise. Thanks in advance and I hope it hits big for you!

Riding this one with you hellah, considering making this my first ever MAC 10 Unit play, do you give your solid opinion to do so?

Thanks

Damn, I hate to scare the hell out of you, but I have capped all of the mac tonight and for probably the first time we are in total agreement.

Ohio played very well in Kent and is very hungry. Love that game.

here is what I found out about the 3 guys who are off the team...Looks to me like they will not miss any of them.

BUFFALO, NY - University at Buffalo men's basketball head coach Reggie Witherspoon has announced that senior Jason Walcott (Toronto, Ontario/Vaughn Secondary) has been dismissed from the team for conduct detrimental to the team. In addition, Parnell Smith (Indianapolis, IN/Pike) and Marcus Henderson (Niagara Falls, NY/Niagara Falls) are academically ineligible for the remainder of the 2003-04 season.

A senior, Walcott missed the first 12 games of the season to concentrate on his studies. For his career, the Toronto native averaged 1.2 points and 1.5 rebounds over 29 games. Walcott was declared academically ineligible during the 2001-02 season and appeared in only five games.

Smith appeared in six games and averaged 0.2 points and 0.8 rebounds per game. Henderson, a walk-on from Niagara Falls High School, averaged 0.4 points and 0.4 assists over five games. Smith and Henderson are still able to practice with the team.

Buffalo (5-7, 1-3) travels to Athens, OH to face Ohio University on Wednesday, January 14 at 7 pm.

significant or not...Buffalo was allready thin on their roster...now this makes them even thinner..Turner Battle wont be getting any breaks it seems like...it effects them 3 minutes to go in the game...This is why the good teams like WMU, Kent, and Toledo win games...and win towards the end...cuz of depth...when you dont have depth...your not gonna win many games - Buffalo has no depth

you dont have to be playing in the game to be a factor...this cuts Buffalos roster to 9 players...who the fawk has a 9 man roster these days?!?! Also take in effect the moral...you dont think this effects the other players?!! Think again...

Over 81% consensus at ********* for this one on Ohio yet the line moves 1.5 the other way? Very interesting line move and I hope Hellah is able to take advantage of it.

Not to mention Ohio has won all 9 of the previous meetings between these teams. . . you would have to think those who moved the line the way they have know about this along with the 3 players being dismissed but Hellah to me looks like he capped this game correctly.

I just don't get it

Strange, strange line move. In my opinion Ohio is the right side, and the lower it goes the more I'll be tempted to lay down on them. With Ohio being at home, this lines just doesn't make much sense to me.
