I am not sure why the number has moved towards Loyola Chic in this game but I'll bite on the visiting Rockets here. Toledo brings back 80+% of all their meaningful stats from '11-'12 back and junior Rian Pearson is the best player that most of you have never heard of. He has the ability to carry the Rockets on his back and can take a game over when facing lesser opposition which is the case tonight.


Loyola went 7-23 last year and frankly I don't see any significant improvement here.

Regarding the line movement, I figure it was people just fading my posted Toledo play.

Loyola will be a tad better this year, but I don't see them competing with Toledo. How much Loyola bounces up from the floor this year will depend on their guard Cully Payne. He transferred from Iowa and was previously committed to DePaul and Bama at different points. Point is he has potential, but hasn't played much obviously and will see if he can live up to some of that.

I know that Pearson was held out of their ex game but no reason other than coaches decision was given. I'm still digging but if he's out it is obviously a huge factor. Will update if anything new comes to light.

I can't answer that but one would think that Todd will stress to the team that every game on the schedule now carries more significance.

FCP - saw your question in my thread. No news out of here. Nothing on either teams twitter feed. Only thing I can see is that a service gave out Toledo as his free play today. Maybe there is a ton that fade him.

Yeah, somehow I doubt that the $20 bettors are lined up 10 deep in Vegas to jump on a Toledo/Loy Chic game.

Despite being a "coaches decision" hold out in their exhibition game i have to assume that he'll be playing until I hear otherwise.

Like the NC State play as I dont think Miami trying to play up tempo this year will be able to hang very long with a much more athletic and talented NC St. team. Charlie might have kept this one close with a grinding type pace but now that they are trying to speed play up I see no chance.
