Fox Sports will have a double header for the MAC.

Marshall+1.5: After watching what Akron did to the Eagles - Iam convinced this school sucks at everything. If this game comes down to free throws - I got a HUGE upper hand with Marshall. They got Ronald Blackshear who is shooting 90% from the line :eek:

Miami(OH) +7.5: How do ya not get up for a Kent St game :p

I think the slow tempo and defensive game that Miami Ohio brings to the table tonight will cover the number if not flat out pull off the upset.

Miami lost by 8 points to Kent at home earlier in the season. What makes you think it will be able to control the tempo on the road? Leaning towards Kent in this one. Not an official play, just a lean. Good luck tonight!

cuz playing a game where you hold the ball for 33 seconds and take 1 shot attempt frustrates a team like Kent St. A good defense hurts a team like Kent because they rely so much on Gates and Nerwig. Dakichs soft side defense shut down that Kent team and they came back from 22 points down to win at the M.A.C Center. Charlie Cole is one of the better if not the best coach in the MAC and he`ll have his players up for this...hell the players dont need Charlie to get them motivated for this game. Kent is 8-1 in MAC play and Miami is 7-2, this win will tie them for first place.

Hellah,

You make a couple of good points. However, don't you think Kent will make some adjustments for this game? Do you really think it will allow Miami to control the tempo on its home floor? I expect Kent to press Miami full court after made baskets. This will prevent Miami from executing its game plan. Let's see how Miami handles full court pressure on the road in a big game. Ive never ever seen Kent St go to full court pressure unless they are in serious shit. They didnt even go to full court when they played Indy last year...nor did they go full court against BG this year. If they go full court - then I`ll be happy becuase that either means they are only up a basket or that they are losing the game.

You know better than I do. You're the "King of the MAC." I don't think it's fair to compare a non-conference game (Maryland) to a conference game. These two teams know each other's every move. Kent is a lot more prepared to play Miami than Maryland was. Not to mention, the Maryland game was the Terps second game of the season. Listen Hellah, I'm not trying to talk you out of your play on Miami. Like I said, we might not even play this game. This is a big game for both teams, not just Miami.

Good luck today bud, I am passing on Miami and Kent, the Flashes made me a believer with their road win at WMU. As far as Marshall and EMU, I like Marshall, but I wount play another game involving EMU the rest of the year, they have screwed me too many times.

1-2 tonight - got lucky with Marshall 2nd half too
