Dont really follow the Mid American that much but just wondering why you like Ohio over the Cats? Seems to me that Ohio will not be able to stop the Cat's offense. Can you give me some idea on what you see in Ohio?

primarly(sp) Ohio is an option team. They run alot of triple option - which is obviously hard to defend. Kentucky well bascially sucks against the run - and yes, I know Kentucky is SEC and yada yada, but you can throw that out the window as we all have seen what the MAC has been able to do this year.

They are giving up 175 yards PER GAME!!!! And 5 yards per carry! Thats ridiculous. Thats why they suck...and yes, they do suck! Ive watched enough KY games to know this. They have no OLine, they have no defense, they just have this fat-ass under center.

Now if your Kentucky - what do you do? You GOTTA play to stop the option right?? Well lately, there has been life in the passing game in the few past weeks. Factored in this line is AJ Hawk. We allready know Fred Ray is out for the game, but what about AJ Hawk??? They say that he`s not gonna play. So who will start under center??? Austen Everson. runner up Mr. Football in the state of Tennessee. Kentucky looked at him, and said he wasnt big enough to go there. ok, KY is obvioulsy blind, cuz this kid is 6-2 220lbs with an arm.

I think Ohio wins....KY will play to stop the run when Ohio will actually pass like they have been. If they drop their safties, then Ohio will run...again, how to defend the option...

WASSUP HELLAH!

Haven't posted in one of your threads since March Madness, but I was waiting all week for your green light on the W. Michigan game. Thanks for solidifying my confidence.

One game that I am on the opposite side of you in is the Chips and Toledo.

I am thinking that the Chips have half-quit, and that even if they were more inspired than Rocky in his fight against Drago they could not stop the mammoth O-line of Toledo.

Am I totally off here?

Thanks in advance, and good to be back in your MAC kingdom!

hounds - naaa i wouldnt say your off on the Toledo game. Central isnt really a strong strong pick, but, you said Toledo has the big OLine. I agree - in fact, its the biggest in the nation. But dont forget about the chips OLine. They have a few guys on the OLine that are NFL bound - and they happen to clear the way for Terrance Jackson, who is one of the best running backs in the MAC.

2 places that Toledo always have problems and I dont know why

1) Muncie, Indiana - Ball St
2) Mt. Pleasant, Michigan - Central Michigan

I think the chips can at least give me 21 on the board. Plus, I think Jerry Seymoure is returning for this game....I think

that's why you are the MAC-daddy!

Thanks for the warning! Looks like a no-play from my end now.

Good Luck this weekend, here are a couple out in my neck of the woods that you may want to get on/look at closer...

Oklahoma (-26): Team that just beat a Top 10 getting 26 looks too good to be true, and is. OU defense mad about B. Smith's performance last year, and it will show...Misery will be forced to throw with their pathetic (Bottom 15 nationally) pass O. 3-4 turnover margin to OU seals this one. J. White's heisman campaign rolls on as the Sooners "hang half a hundred" for the 5th straight week! Let the "dogcatchers" take this bundle of points, OU is way too solid for Misery's one man gang Smith.

Utah (pk to -1.5): Seven straight over UNLV, who I think is still getting too much street cred for their win over a hungover Wiscy team a month ago. Utes are big, physichal and will control the ball. Haven't seen a total, but I like this UNDER anything higher than 50.

Kansas (-19): Baylor almost forgot how bad they were when they beat Colo. and the Buffs intramural flag football QB. Now they are short a starting CB and up against the flying circus of Mark "the Hut" Mangino. Mangino took a loss to the Bears last year and will be out for blood. This guy will dish out the embarrasment if given the chance.

Good Luck again buddy, thanks for the quick reply!

If you are in this racket for ENTERTAINMENT, save yourself the stress and go rent Jumanji or some shit!

If you are in it for the CASH, listen to Hellah when it comes to the MAC!!!!!!

Just kidding with you buddy, but honestly I don't think many of these games get air outside of a very small area, if at all. I have the ESPN gameplan and the MAC very rarely pops up on this package of games, let alone the national broadcasts...

GL this week,

bear - I cant go against Josh Cribbs. Its not like UConn is someone special. There are plenty of teams in the MAC that have bigger offensive weapons then UConn.

Kent can play with:

Akron
Marshall
Miami

Iam pretty sure they can play with UConn
