I like Akron over Ohio. Akron's run D is getting better every week. Ohio ripped apart EMU and Kent but those teams packed it in awhile ago. Akron to win straight up.

Sounds like Turner is going to be back for NIU although it doesn't seem to matter who plays tailback for them. The 4th string guy got 100 yards vs Western Mich. Miami O is going to b-slap Marshall.
You gonna be in Dekalb this Saturday??? If I had major money on it..I would certainly make the drive..
I doubt it. There's quite a few games I like this Saturday so I don't want to focus on watching just one game. I'm hoping the local Fox Sports Net picks it up. Given the state of performance of Illinois teams in the NCAA and NFL, its nice to at least have one winning team.

Tons of press coming for a MAC game out in Dekalb...usually you see this kind of press in Toledo, Marshall, or Western Michigan.....
Toledo Blade, Cleveland Plain Dealer, USA Today, AP, Chicago Sun-Times, Chicago Tribune, Daily Herald, Daily Chronicle, Midweek, Northern Star, so on and so on. NIU will get loads of press this week....and from what i heard i think three scouts will be there, and two guys from the GMAC Bowl and Motor City bowl will be there.
Toledo Blade, Cleveland Plain Dealer, USA Today, AP, Chicago Sun-Times, Chicago Tribune, Daily Herald, Daily Chronicle, Midweek, Northern Star, so on and so on. Also think Cen Fla strong play over Buffalo this weekend in the MAC.
QB Schneider for the Golden Knights should have a field day against the very weak Buffalo "D".
UCF's Defense is not very strong either and have possiblely 4 starters not playing due to injuries, but fortunately Buffalo's off is as bad as their defense and they also are also hurting with 3 of their wide receivers hobbled by injury and questionable for this game...besides I don't see Buffalo's off being on the field that much.
I like UCF just because of their offensive power, Schneider should be in control all the way with his passing game against this Buf D.
See UCF cruising to a lopsided win against a very inferior opponent.

i will be at NIU tomorrow. as stated, the weather is set to be a beautiful midwestern fall day. overcast, clouds and mid to low 60's at game time. its mid 50's at 1:30am.
i know where you stand on this... but, if you recall my reason for going to a prior NIU game, it was for a hot blonde. well, the blonde is secondary on this trip.
i'm going to see BG kick ass! i'm in on BG -3.5. if i had to a play the total, i'd go under the 63. but, i'm not and, again, i'm nailing BG like you did ORE last week.
i am a local and still of a young age that i know/know of some of the NIU players, etc... no doubt they are up for this game. all the coverage, etc... that you mentioned but, i assue you, from first hand account - they are damn nervous. when BG gets out front early and slaps that D on NIU - thats it. i've also been told by the NIU ticket office that BG is traveling "NEB" style for this game. so, i expect a near 50/50 split in crowd noise.
so, without breaking the game down further, that is where i stand... btw, great stage for BG coach to heightened his growing acclaim. think an impressive win here positions him for the MSU spot???
