NIU backers....we got LUCKY to get a push...they didnt deserve to push imo...they played like shit
Yes they did, I just got back and the Huskies were forced to foul a lot when the Zips went inside. Also the Huskies lack of a quality point guard will likely haunt them all year.
akron shows just enough youth every now and then throughout the game that prevents them from pulling away in games.
zips were up 5 and with the ball and 1:00 to go in the 1h. found a way to let niu get it to a 1pt game at halftime
zips up 13 with 3:00 to go and settled for a 7pt push
gotta give akron credit for rebounding in a nice way after that wmu loss. but they gotta learn to slam the door on teams
on a side note: jeremiah wood is going to be a baller. hes a double-double machine right now. i thought romeo travis would be the big stud in their freshman class but wood can ball
