bgold, good find. Honestly, it could be a GOOD thing. It's pretty clear that the players hate Mackovic. They might play for a different coach.

its redicoulous they havent fired this idiot yet... what aree they doing keeping this guy around anyways? the players hate him and he is turning that program into bayloresque. i will hedge my az bet now and but some on tcu

Very good find and here I didn't know anything about this even though we all knew it was coming. At the very end of the article, there are reports that the defensive coordinator will coach the game tonight instead of Mack.

The problem with putting money on this game is we have no idea what the hell is going on and who will even play for Arizona. Will Farmer start? Will Costa start? Will the defensive coordinator throw out everything Mack was setting up for this week and go back to the original starters or what? Looks like a great game to stay far away from.

i just checked azcentral.com, the website for the az republic newspaper & they have not mentioned the firing. the site was last updated 12:06 pm.

I heard yesterday that the players and the AD want him to stay and wont fire him...its the fans that want him gone...:shrug: :shrug:
