typical problems with hoops nowadays manifest from announcers, "Oh, this kid is ready!" "Why would he stay?!" "Oh, Lorenzo is worried, Martell is making shots early! You know Husky fans are rooting for him to miss so he doesnt leave for the draft--but all that money, wow, how does a 17 year old turn it down!"

etc etc

then ooh and awws on dunks and crappy/flash plays ...

it's actually hilarious

and that's not to mention that Jason Williams (color man) is given verbal hand jobs for Coach K every 2 seconds ... (this is as nauseating as coach k commercials every break)

unreal show if you stop and consider all the ramifications ... press hates the spoiled athletes in NBA etc., but they create them (along with myriad of possies and ass kissers) long before they ever become famous

Pretty entertaining Mickey D's game tonight .... like the way my KU boys on the West team (Chalmers, Wright and Downs) have looked as they all could conceivably start for Jayhawks next year .... also the Green kid (East) obviously is very talented ... at least this year it was a more competitive game than normal.

Couldn't agree more Gregg. That game to me is unwatchable. Have these kids ever learned how to set or use a pick? How to basket cut? How to make a twelve foot jump shot? Nothing but dunks and 3's.

Great athletes, but most have very poor basketball skills. Sportscenter and aau ball are definitely not helping the sport in my opinion.
