Macy's Parade question.....

I'm hard-headed but I swear I heard the musical guests performances were taped before the parade and that NBC edits them in the "live" parade. How can they stop the whole damn parade so they can sing their song?

It's all lip-synced, that's obvious.

I really need to be correct here guys. The wife says I'm full of it. I need a little enjoyment knowing I was right and she was wrong before the Gators blast my Noles(wife's a Gator).

If anyone finds a link that states this fact, I would be greatful.

We went last year in the POURING rain.
They do some taping--but they do stop at various points to put on shows. The big ones you see are at Macy's which is at the end--the parade takes forever...
