Alright everyone, I'm going to try and keep up with all the Friday golfers in this thread.....and their teams. It's still to be determined whether or not we'll be playing 2 or 3 man teams right now. If we play 2 man teams, we'll group into foursomes. I'll update that as things progress and we get a full list of who is playing. For now, I'll group people together that I know for sure.

Team #1: ppabart, whatshisnuts, nickndet

Team #2: Wineguy, arrow

Team #3: The Joker, Nole, RollTide

Team #4: Skipper, MIMINTW, fatdaddycool

Team #5: Betone, Betone's buddy, Eddie Haskell

People not teamed up yet:

If you are playing Friday golf FOR SURE, please let me know your intentions in this thread. :0008

Nick - Friday too early to start shotgunning beers:shrug:

Bart - just don't put me on Nole's team. I have to listen to his whiny azz the rest of the year.

Nole - cut the grass, take out the trash, before you ask:popcorn2

FDC - I haven't played with you either, but please bring another helmet for me if you are on my team. If you could attach a straw to the, or well something like this (Hope you speak a different language):

<object width="560" height="315"><param name="movie" value="http://www.youtube.com/v/wZcnUEIP9fY?version=3&hl=en_US&rel=0"></param><param name="allowFullScreen" value="true"></param><param name="allowscriptaccess" value="always"></param><embed src="http://www.youtube.com/v/wZcnUEIP9fY?version=3&hl=en_US&rel=0" type="application/x-shockwave-flash" width="560" height="315" allowscriptaccess="always" allowfullscreen="true"></embed></object>

Team helmet is set then with Haskell, Skipper, Dos Equis guy, and Myself and three helmets. I'm stoked. It will be like we are giving a seminar.

Chris:

Remember - collared shirt without Dallas Cowboys jersey numbers and no jeans. No fishing waders. keep quiet while others are addressing (getting ready to hit) the ball. It is called a foursome for a reason, that is, there are four players in the group, not just you. Be respectful of others, don't always walk to your ball when others have yet to hit behind you. Don't always ask us if we saw where your ball went. We will spend an appropriate amount of time looking for your ball in the woods but you must try to keep a line on the flight of your ball and mark it closest to an object nearest the point it went out of bounds. Calloway X-out range balls are not valuable and 20 minutes is too long of a time too look for them despite the fact that you only have two more similar balls in your bag.

If your ball lands on the green, the wrong green, you cannot hit a wedge off of the putting surface. Belterra will frown upon this conduct. Replace your divots. If you will recall from the last time we played together, a divot is that 1 foot piece of grass and dirt that flew in the air about 10 feet after you hit the ball about 2 feet. If you follow these few simple rules I believe we may be able to tolerate another 7 1/2 hour round of golf together on Friday.

Wow....a flashback from the Belterra outing when Jack, Eddie, Cris, and myself played in a group. Only place I remember differently is that Cris made very few divots as he teed up my driver from everywhere.....didn't matter if it was a tee box, fairway from 120 out, greenside sandtrap, and I even think he teed one up from the fucking snackbar. Good thing was he hit the piss out of that driver once he learned he can't make contact with the ball without a fucking piece of wood under the ball.

Oh...and Eddie.....please wear the mask you wore that year when you walked up to the group. Everyone thought you were a no-show, then Groucho fucking Marx shows up

bart,
please put Eddie with us as we will play four. Just playing to have maximum fun and that lineup pretty much is perfect for it.

Skipper may have another tag-along....so that's all that has kept me from adding him to your group at this second. This is all in it's early stages......everything is in rough draft form right now :)
