So, I have a 20-1 future on Nova (I never posted) from back in November. I risked half a unit to win 10 units, but I had other futures I added throughout the season and tournament, so with everything accounted for, I stand to win 8 units if Nova wins tonight after deducting for the losses of my other futures. I plan to ride that out tonight and not hedge, but if the opportunity arises with in-running to get them straight up at a discount, I will be all over that too.
If I were forced to make a play, I might look at the under on the 1st 10 minutes, as I expect a slower pace to start. If the 1H stays under and the game is within reach for Michigan, I'll look at the 2H over as well. As far as the side, it's Nova or pass. They've beat every opponent in this tournament by 12 or more and Michigan isn't even close to their toughest opponent. I would rank WVU, Kansas and possibly even TX-Tech higher than Michigan. You could cross your fingers and lay the 7 here, but honestly, it's been tough sledding if you've been trying to turn a profit betting this tournament laying strictly pre-flop bets. Live betting is your friend in the tournament, if it's available to you. Use it and grab the value. It certainly bailed me out on my Loyala bet in the final four.
