Rizzo.............cal me friggen crazy but I thought Orlando winning the east at 18-1 was worth a shot. After watching every team in the east this year I dont think a team (Orlando) with the best player in the east(McGrady) and a decent coach will be outclassed by anyone..............Thanks for the info and I agree they will beat the pistons........

If anyone is gonna come out of the east it is either the Pistons, Nets, Hornets or Sixers

Detroit in 6 vs. Orlando.

Detroit plays better D, have a better coach, more depth, experience, and have a major desire from what I have been reading in the papers and hearing on the radios to prove that #1 seed not being a fluke and improving upon last season's second round exit to the Celtics.

Rizzo was right on. When your able to watch teams in person that makes a HUGE difference. I capped this game liking the Magic early on and when I read Rizzo's post I hammered this baby for 2 big ones, only wish I had larger balls and took em on the money line!
I was fortunate to catch the Twolves game against the Clippers a couple of weeks ago, and that made my pick for the Lakers today all that much easier. Thanks Rizzo for the Heads up!

Nice meltdown by the Magic. That and the fact the Pistons finally decided to show up and play the final 3 games and illustrate to everyone the obvious gap between these teams. T-Mac had nothing left today. You can't match the depth of the Pistons with a superstar and a promising rookie (Gooden).

Steven Hunter was awfully impressive in this series

Then again, he wasn't saying anything while the series was still going on, whether it was 3-1, 2-2..doesn't make a difference. Looks like a couple of people did a 'Tracy McGrady' here and started counting money before the series was even over.

Thanks Hoops and pt1gard for backing me up. I didn't say a word throughout the entire series. If the Magic would have won the series, I would have been the first guy to come on here and give him props for playing Orlando.

I don;t mean to rub it in to people who played the Magic to win the series and lost $$$$$$$$$$. That is not my intent. My intent is to back up my claim that Detroit is a superior team to Orlando and they proved that over a 7-game series.

They may be sh_t but they are in the second round and doing better than that Anchorage franchise!

You will never hear me talking about a series ever being over until winning that final game........I really believe the hardest game to win is the one that puts the other team out. Really with Detroit being down 3-1 they knew the whole series was going to come down to game 6.......There was now way they were going to lose game 5 after losing 2 in a row........and after winning game 6 the was now way they were going to falter in game 7. I really thought Orlando was in big trouble the first quarter of game 6.......they were up 11-5 then went down like 26-16. Actually even the 2 games Orlando won at home they started out down by 10 after the first quarter in each game. You cant expect to win consistantly being down dd's. I still cant believe how friggin stupid it was for T-mac to comment about the second round before the series was over. Sometimes you just have to wonder what these guys are thinking...............
