I wrote an earlier thread about bias in polls where I compared unbiased computers with pollsters who are notoriously reactionary and prone to degrading the value of Pac-10 teams. Check out the final BCS regular season standings:

All 4 Pac-10 teams are rated at least 3 spots lower in the polls than they are in the unbiased computer rankings. Incidentally, every Big XII team is at least 3 spots higher in the polls than they are in the unbiased computer rankings.

Now, I'll grant you that computer rankings have their own flaws, but this will be interesting to follow. I have a feeling that we are going to see major ATS value betting for Pac-10 teams and against Big XII teams. In fact, I'm going to follow those two conferences very closely this bowl season.
