Maybe your luck will change, when it was cuban Cohibas and single malt you got sodomized. I know you are letting it breath right now, hopefully its not vinagar. That would be a real tragedy!

agent-I just poured it in my decanter..by the smell it should be mighty fine.....will take my first sip when jeter hits a lead off homer off of Fartolo...

I just received some big info from a person within the yankee organization. If you dont believe it fine, just ignore it but I felt it was my duty to share it with you folks on this wonderful forum..just a little payback for all the hospitality and wonderful support you have given me the past week.

My friend who works in upper management with the yankees told me that Mike Mussina never left california. He stayed there and has visited some physical therapists the past few days to get ready for game 5 if need be. He stressed that he will be all "juiced up" and ready to go for this game. I didnt want to ask any questions but got the hint.
Watch his fastball tonight..it will be an avg of 2-4 mph faster and he will pitch a gem...

just passing info..take it or leave it..if you dont like it please dont post 594 bashing replies!!!

"Bartolo Colon flew to Southern California on Saturday night to prepare for a potential Game 5 in Anaheim, but he had not yet left when the Angels learned about Washburn. He wasn't a consideration for Game 4 because 'he needs the time,' according to Scioscia.

"He'll be fresher and rested for Game 5," Scioscia said of Colon, who's battled lower back stiffness the past few weeks. "He's much better off in the slot we have him right now, even though (Sunday) was normal rest, the extra day could be important for Bart."

NEW YORK -- When the Yankees boarded their charter flight from California to New York after Game 2 of the American League Division Series in Anaheim, they did so without Mike Mussina.

The idea was to spare Mussina the two cross-country flights required of everyone else should the series return to the West Coast, allowing him to stay on something of a normal throwing schedule in preparation for starting Game 5.

It certainly looks smart now. Mussina, who battled an elbow strain and inconsistency late in the season, should be plenty strong for Monday with an extra day of rest. And he should have plenty of confidence coming off his strong showing in Game 1, which helped erase the unpleasant memories of his previous postseason start against the Angels.

Yankees manager Joe Torre wouldn't reveal where Mussina and Bozello were staying in SoCal, but noted that he's been in regular contact with Mussina and likes what he'd heard.

"Mike is very responsible," Torre said. "I'm not really concerned about the fact that he'll be ready to pitch."
