With as poorly as the Nets have played, why would the Linesmaker open the NETS -2?

I wrote in an earlier thread the Nets were in a fog and I was all set to take San Antonio +2, but now I'm not so sure.

Seems to me the Linesmaker is looking for sa dollars and the O/L sure provides the bait.

I'm still on the fence.

It's been like this all througout the playoffs. Vegas really hasn't adjusted the lines much between games, except on the over/unders in the Mavs games. For the most part, the only time Vegas makes a drastic change in the lines is when teams switch courts.

So if they had the Spurs minus 6 in Game 1 in Game 2 (both in San Antonio) they kept it at about 6 or 5.5. The line in the last game was New Jersey -2 and the over under was about 183, they kept it the same here (both in New Jersey).

I see this game as a must win game for New Jersey, as I'm sure we all do. This game can go either way. Vegas keeping the line the same here IMO is a good move on their part. I personally love the over in this game.

Yes the line is interesting.... BUT and Maybe But, things get evened out tonite.
Afterall The Spurs went to the line 35 times Sunday nite ( 23-35)
and The NETS 17 times ( 15-17).

SIDE NOTE: SUNDAY NITE JASON KIDD DID NOT SHOOT ONE FREE THROW ?????????????????????? Hmmmmmmm..
Not one single time did he go to the line.. ???????????????
