Best of luck to you.
I will try and give you some advice here.
You will know what your annual outgoings will be so your bankroll should be at least twenty times this sum. This is based on winning 5% of your bankroll per year.
I know it doesn't sound to hard but believe me it is. Play 10% of your bankroll at any one time. Hold at least half your bankroll in savings account so you gain interest on money. Every little helps.
DO NOT CHASE LOSSES
LIMIT WHAT YOU PLAY
CONCENTRATE ON ONE OR TWO SPORTS THAT YOU WIN AT ON A REGULAR BASIS, ALL OTHER SPORTS LEAVE WELL ALONE.
From what you have said you will play video poker, blackjack, poker and bet sports, this to me is two much. Do you know how much time all this will involve. You will burn yourself out within months.
I bet for a living here in the UK. I dont have any other form of work and my income is gained purely from sports betting. I spend a minimum of ten hours aday finding betting opportunities, so my week is 70 hours minimum. Thats equivalent to two weeks work here if I worked for a company.
Would I change what I did now for a living? NO
Because I can stop when I want, I'm my own boss. I can go on Holiday when I want and not when company closes for breaks your when others in department aren't on vacation.
There are several things that you will need to acquire if you want to be successful and you have probably read them on here many times, however, apart from money management you will need plenty of guts to stomach the poor (losing) runs. Mark my words, however damn good you are these will come along and when they do it hurts. You begin to question yourself and lose belief in what you are doing. I suggest you take a bavk seat, stop betting but monitor what your plays would be. When your trends, angles etc start appearing successful step back in. You do not have to bet every day. Your betting bank should be a minimum of 50 X your average play or 25 X your maximum play. Bear in mind your maximum plays should hit atleast 60%.
But the biggest hurdle you will come accross and need to beat is STRESS, and believe me this pursuit is one of the most stressful I have ever come accross.
