I personally
think that bookers can't cap F-1 as well as they would like to,
too much depences on pure luck. :D

You?re absolutely right. I once had a linesmaker admit to me to when they got 65/35% action on each side of a matchups instead of 95/5 on one side of a F1 matchup it was a good deal. Either way, they?re gambling, not bookmaking. And, good bookies hate to gamble. What this forum does is create a lot more of those 95/5 situations as the lurkers pile on popular picks.

1837, found it now - didn't realise you can retrieve old threads

5/3/1 +9.3pts so far

feel free to 'stroke my ego'!:D :D

Mark - appreciate what your saying but surely if the books were that bothered they could log on + read whats written + alter prices accordingly. I wouldn't back anything at the wrong price (well, not deliberately anyway  ). Why don't books just shut down winning clients or heavily restrict them?? That's what happens here :( :(

I've seen lines move -50 in the direction of some of 1837's picks so either, they are moving based on these picks or the readers are getting there first and doing it for them. As far as limits go, most have cut back but while kicking winners is cool for Euro books, North American ones (Olympic, etc.) won't do it (Itops will).

MarkA,

I understand your point but this forum is to help each others at beating the bookies and we have "expert" in soccer, rugby, golf and so on and that is why this forum is the best around bar none! We can't block bookies to sneak out here and it is their rights to do so but as my friend DJV once wrote about sportbooks,(it was sort of like this hum djv?) "they are not here to give us $$$ so when we can beat (kick their ass) them it's my pleasure"

Now, what can we do, continue to do our own business and not helping each others? You are right, i can shut my mouth and do it for myself but i call this selfishness and i'm not that type of guy.

True some sportbooks have taken a beating last year from us. It was a wake up call for them because they are much more smarter this year. On the other side some sportbooks would have never offered these F1 lines if i hadn't called them first! I won't name them but i assure you i know some that started because of my suggestion. They didn't know where they were going when they started to post them but that is another story...:D

On the other side, i don't think we are so known than what you've written. If so well i'm glad to see madjack forum has become a must for bookies but we are here to kick their:moon: :thefinger

I don't post to get flattered by others. I've always posted my record since i started last year, see by yourself, and i'm happy to make $$ in this business and to help others doing so. when i want an advice in rugby, i ask to posters that are good at it. We are here (madjack forum) to share information to make some cash. We can't start a secret e-mail service with our picks, it would become the end of gambling forums!

What i think you mean is (or my feelings after i've read your post)is: 1837, do your job but don't post anymore because you hit my own bankroll... Sorry, i can't. I want to help my friends out here but if i have to quit so be it but i don't think we're enough important to make life SOOO miserable for sportsbooks...

You are touching are sensible point Mark A...

It is good to make $$$ on F1 and Cart but we might have contributed to make it harder for us with our great year...

Thanks for the well-thought out reply. I can?t hope but to be wrong and at this time next year, have more F1/CART wagers offered than I have money to bet on. I just don?t feel that will be the case though in my talks with the books.

Since I didn?t mean to start a long, drawn out argument, this will probably be my last post since I?m not about to be hypocritical and post any picks. Good luck to all and we?ll just have to see what the future holds.

1837 did see your post on time

1837 did see your post on time

But when I went to wager at Oly they had taken lines down which confused me so I thought maybe the time was just for the race.

Please, you have to understand the weight and merit I give each and every one of your posts, to say I didn't read it, well now you're talking crazy.

Best,

notes:

Both Ferraris had very few laps: Bar 17 and Scu 14, other top
drivers had 23-26 laps. Michael looked very convincing, only
-0.489 with out pushing too hard.

Top six inside 0.489 seconds.

Coulthard is feeling pressure from R?ikk?nen who was
second at free2.2. Coulthard -0.332 behind Kimi.

1837 sorry late this week. I been busy over in buckets pissing Hoops off. He knows I like to do that. He wants to kick by ass so bad he can't stand it. He just does not know som chit is just for fun.
Ok what the hell is going on here. Our great friends the books want us to loose at every thing there is to wager on. Of course they do. They are not our buddies. They do like us a lot when we loose. Hey Stanley and yourself a few good folks can do some things to off set these fealings. BUT lets not get to blinded by the crap. The odds are not in out favor. We pay the juice, the book does not. So there was a hot streak last year. Hey might not happen this year. The books have all the odds and so many sports to offer. They have so many parlay and other sucker bets. If they are that BS about this F1 site. Well then I can say it only one way. There a bunch of winers. Hell more should post F1 and get some grazy chit offered. They will suck some folks in. The few that win are easly payed by all the loosers. I do not believe that the world comes here and just all use yours and Stanley plays.
Is There some other BS going on? I don't know. Hey MJ has some great sponsers for this site. That's nice of them. I think they may want our business. Or why advertise here;)
