Just a question...

Just a question...

First of all..thank you for putting me on to Matchbook. Incredibly cool idea. Better odds, but less bet choices. Still, a great 2nd or 3rd out. At least for non-Americans (like Pinnacle).

Question: do you ever bet against Atlanta or the CWS? I can't believe these are just fan plays, you respect the wagering game too much. Just curious.

Always check your plays amongst the few I check. :0008

bet against ATL in the dh the other day, took milwaukee + odds in both, and the braves f'n swept. expected a split, as most DHs happen to do, which would net +$, and i lost.

to answer your first ?, yes, when appropriate, but i tend to just lay off the game if i don't like the side or like the other side. have to REALLY know it's going the other way.
don't know what you mean "can't believe these are just fan plays"... which ones?

fyi, i track my ATL and CWS bets to compare to their overall #s. i hope to beat their totals as i try to be more selective. but those #s also include totals plays involving them, so the goal is to just be profitable.
thought of separating them as just another piece of data to self-analyze. i realy enjoy breaking thinks down, too. (obviously)

Thanks for the reply.

I was mainly asking about the fact that I see very few plays against the Braves or CWS and you have those cheering icons at the bottom of your posts.

I figured you were not just some homer/fan guy but a serious sports analyst. Didn't think you ever bet against them but I missed the times you did and you explain why that is seldom.

yes, when appropriate, but i tend to just lay off the game if i don't like the side or like the other side. have to REALLY know it's going the other way.

Good enough, keep it up, really appreciate your input. :toast:
