Man killed at Miami airport after saying he had a bomb

MIAMI - A passenger who claimed to have a bomb in a carry-on bag was shot to death in a confrontation Wednesday on a jetway at Miami International Airport, NBC News reported.
All this shows is we are not screwing around with security anymore all because Bush is doing what it takes to make security a priority here.

Politics aside--the report I got was he may been bi-polar without meds.Unfortunate for his family but when you hold bag and yell bomb on crowded plane I'd feel a lot worse had the Marshal not done the correct thing--and cap him.
If nothing else it should have sent strong message to anyone with criminal intent in future.

If a bomber were smart and wanted to set off his bomb on a plane or in a airport, he would have to ask himself want would prevent me from setting it off. Surly being shot to death would. But if i had a pressure sensitive trigger, meaning once pressure is released it goes off, that would insure it denotation. It happened in England and it was only a matter of time that it happened here. Osama Bin Laden strikes again, BTW where is Osama?

No doubt, or at least the first demonstration of whatever group is currently the torchbearer for the rights of the mentally infirm. I think it might be Jesse Jackson.

These marshalls did their job and did their job well. Period.

Spibble Spab, *some* people understand what I was saying. My comment was not a shot at Fox. It just so happens that that is the station that I watch all day at work and I wouldn't have minded seeing something different than a static shot of ambulances sitting on the tarmac for 4 hours. I'm sure the other stations did the same.

I was ok with that for about the first month. But STILL we get to see Beth Twitty all over the news at least 3 days a week. And like you say, the 'update' is that nothing has changed.
