Marino only made it to one SB and got spanked, but he is (deservedly) always mentioned among the top few QB's of all time. Winning the SB helps, but it isn't everything. I believe you realize this but are too blinded by your Patriots myopia.

you believe correct, just fuckin around. Marino and Manning definitely will be in historys elite, but right or wrong, Manning will go down in history with goat horns for this game. Almost feel bad about that. Could very well be the route Wayne ran, or maybe just a great gamble by Porter, I haven't watched the replay enough, but that's how athletes are remembered, right or wrong.

Not one of Manning's best game for sure, but it seems his receivers and maybe coaches were worse goats than him. Most of all, the Saints offense took the game away from Manning. They controlled it after the 1st quarter.
