I guess , but the intimidation factor of seeing that dude poised and ready to chase me down would have me soiling my shorts.

The hospital where I work has a K-9 unit at all times. I have seen just the dog's presence de-escalate a lot of situations. Aggressive people just stand down when the dog shows up.

One of my buddies has a security company and they do a lot of work out here for the Government. He has a few of these dogs (never seen them in gear like that) but the dogs are very cool. Very friendly as well. However, he says he never lets people touch them when they are out in the field.
